The seat tilting forward is called 'Active Reach' - it allows the driver a few more inches of Reach. The knee brace indicates optional Support when using Active Reach. Permobil offers 'VS' (vertical stand, and drive) the driver can stand in a Permobil 'VS' - promotes bone health, circulation, and digestion. This has the BEST suspension as compared to Permobil's M3 (smaller version of the M5). Also, the M5 has 8-inch casters as the M3 has 6-inch casters.
