Artist's Note: Man. I have been jamming to this track for 2 weeks straight.
I had originally written off this TR Season's op because I thought Tuyu was the one doing it... turns out they did the ed. Whoops. But then I saw Hige Dandism was actually on the op, and heard this track... what a banger. It's so stylistically different from Cry Baby but just as fun and works just as well. I adore this song so much. Hope you all enjoy my English rendition of it!! Love how these lyrics turned out.
I originally watched Tokyo Revengers back in Summer of last year and was hooked immediately. I caught up with the manga in September without realizing it was literally just about to end ( :'( ), but what a journey. Of course, visually, this show ain't no Demon Slayer or Chainsaw Man, but the voice acting is top notch, and the story is great as well. As this song suggests, you go along for the ride, and it's a great time. Definitely recommend this show if you haven't seen it. Chifuyu is my favorite boy.

And " cmon lets drive away so far into the night " made me wanna cry because of Chifuyu,Hakkai, and Mitsuya. They died a hero.

I like how the lyrics are adjusted so that it can be from the perspective of Takemichi, Hinata, Chifuyu (and maybe even Naoto, if you read the manga)
Another banger that perfectly captures Takemichi and a god teir cover Silver.
For those who've heard about the manga or thought season 1 fell off PLEASE watch season 2 or read the manga before the final arc as Takemichi is about to prove himself a truly goated Protagonist and character

This has been the closest translation to the original Japanese lyrics that I’ve seen so far. I think it’s super important that the revenge is kept in the lyrics and I noticed quite a few omit that entirely.

2:53 This is the 2nd dubbed cover I’ve heard of this song (1st was from Nick at Nite) and this part right here, I think the most easiest English lyrics to put that would most resemble the original “Ah sou sa. Ano yoru kara.” would be “Ah, that’s right, ever since that one night.” Like, that’s a LITERAL translation right there that works 🤣
