last question about ANUG , correct treatment is scaling and OHI , metro & mouthwash is not the first line of treatment is an adjunction to treatment , aslo the correct regiem for metro is 400mg tds 3 days.

Generally 3 days is not enough. I have seen that before, but from experience it's not enough to have a sustained therapeutic dose to clear it.

@@bakrimad7875 yeah they're useful. They are guidelines. Generally NUG patients will find it hard to tolerate complete debridement at the first visit.
