@Leah Allen, Glad to know you found it helpful and thank you very much for watching :-) Good luck in growing them, they are best for the Summer garden.
@Britmatt, thank you for your question. Sunlight would be enough n definitely you can use a heated propagator. I haven't use a heated propagator yet as temperature in my place is not that low in my place. So, trying to give you some ideas about my environment - Gaillardia is grown as a summer flower plant but they are still blooming, even in winter (of course size of the blooms is smaller than summer). The nighttime temperature is around 10°C n I know if I sow seeds now, they would germinate. They are hardy and germinate quite fast. Hope this is helps. Plz let me know if you have any question and I would get back to you ASAP!
I have several of these blossoming in a small plot in my front yard. Can i remove them from the ground and replant in a pot? And how do i care for them once i the pots?
@Suhani Yadav, thank you for your question. Gaiiardia actually Summer flower hai and almost Nov end tak flowering kar sakte hai (mere pass abhi bhi flowering kar raha hai). Lakin aap abhi grow karana chahte hai to, plz koi isse kijiye - ua-cam.com/video/IdQXgk2c4qY/v-deo.html Koi bhi sawal ho to bata dijiyega. Thank you very much for watching the video :-)
Gardening Upbeat. Thanks for the video. In which city did you sprout this? I am still waiting since 2 weeks. It's still not sprouted. May be it's too cool here.
@Nik Rao, Most welcome and thank you for watching :-) They don't take that much time to germinate and you are right, it's because of the cold. I am from Guwahati (Assam, INDIA). Thank you :-)
Sure, they would and nothing would happen to any seedlings while doing that. If you like, you can check out the result (from seedlings to flowering) here - ua-cam.com/video/WUwOAvwIWaQ/v-deo.html
What size container did you use in this video? It is hard to see the depth. I have seedling packs as well as pots. I wanted to try to the pot method but am unsure of what size to use.
@Zico, I am really very sorry for the late reply. 12-15 is bit low as you are not going to get good germination rate or the seedlings would be weak. They are still blooming in my place (now it's 14°C on 10-01-2020: 4:35 AM) but size of the blooms is really very small as they need high temperature. So, I would recommend you to grow them when the temp is above 20+ Celsius.
I already sown in april last week and seed germinate also but can't growth till th plants are tiny why it can't grow plz tell me I'm from gopalpur odisha
@Jayshree Patel, 2 mahine se aisa to nehi hona chahiye...soil ke kuch problem hai aur nehi to, Sunlight thik se nehi mila hoga. Aap ak bar ye video dekhiye jisme me pura iss stage se flowering tak cover kiya hu - ua-cam.com/video/WUwOAvwIWaQ/v-deo.html Aapko pura info mil jayega..Good luck :-)
@Gogoi's Gardening, I would upload the video very soon showing lots of blooms :-) Anyway, they grow well in any kind of soil. But, I use 50% - normal garden soil, 25% - Cocopeat & 25% - Vermicompost. Anyway, this is the best potting soil mix we can use for most of the plants except few (like indoor plants + succulents etc). PINCHING - Absolutely not needed n plz don't do it. If you do, you might harm the crown of the plant.
@Ranjeet Yadav, Sure, it's the best time and I have listed some more plants here (ua-cam.com/video/eFwTxNwBW80/v-deo.html) which we can start growing now. Thank you :-)
@Fari Waheed, Most welcome and thank you very much for watching. I am going to upload the video very soon where I would cover from seedling stage to massive flowering :-)

This video is great! Do you water every day?
Do they need warmth as well or just sunlight or both ? Im in uk and its cold here so can i use a heated propergator to start them off ?
