LOGLINE - In a country estate, a thieving teenage orphan agrees to smoke up with the loud and witty elderly man his older brother takes care of, and learns the real value of connection.
OVERVIEW - Redwood is a story about connection and what it means to be family. It is a comedy drama short film, a heartwarming and witty tale about two orphan brothers and the loud, surprisingly energetic elderly man the older brother is a carer for. Set in the present day, in a quiet country estate, Redwood explores themes of friendship, loss and most of all, human connection, through the whimsical dynamic between the characters, and in the end, a rag-tag little family is formed.

I think I would understand psychology and pretend that I hadn’t noticed the watch. There some sort of people - good people that has a different view on property

It's an interesting situation. The kid is on survival mode, going through his parents' death, going through the foster system. He has learned to look out for himself and take any opportunity to better himself, in this case, steal a watch he could sell later for food or whatever. I don't think it necessarily makes him a bad person, but you see over the course of the film, this action and the consequences give him the opportunity to change for the better.
