Thoughts on NVDA Updates??
Did you guys see the article that came out after the market closed tonight that Amazon is struggling to make AI chips. That will be HUGE news for NVIDIA! So funny that these other M7 companies thought they could come out with a viable AI chip and software just by putting out a press release. Welcome to the REAL world! It is nearly impossible to build a commercially ready AI chip and software! So if you want AI chips and software you'll be buying them from NVIDIA!!!

I sold nvdia at end of 2018, and it was a hard lesson. Now i don’t buy and sell.
Amazon needs to stay in their own lane they try to be everything to everybody.

Discuss the basics about the AI PC, the NPU, Role of Nvidia in AI PC and the top stocks to gain from it. You are doing a great job jose. Keep it up.
Jose, you say you are a long term investor, but do you have an exit strategy? What would an exit strategy for NVDA be? And, when analysts come up with price targets, what are their time scales? I know AI is in it's infancy; I also know competition will only increase. Do you have a price target? Or a certain number of years in mind?
Nvidia is still cheap. I would buy now and after split.

It would be ideal that in addition to making recommendations for long term (which seems to be your practice with DCA) but also for more active traders. I think the stock split is significant and should propel short term a bit more as well. 25% appreciation was seen for the 2021 split (also consistent with Apple and Tesla in 2020). The split will make shares more accessible in countries around the world (not just Europe) which don't offer fractional share purchase
NVDL has been a good way way to play NVDA (its a 2X long only) I lightened up a bit today on it but got an easy double since I got in at 29$
started investing early january, got inspired loocking at my pc would have got some msi since its the years on the dragon XD but couldns find the stock in us or cad so i went all in nvidia :D

Wait till that split next week lets the retail dogs in chasing all the FOMO. There's going to be a sustained fluff effect from these pending investments that will bid up the price dramatically... Probably into proper bubble territory.

I think we may have an equal amount of a sell off as we do people buying in. I think it might go up a little bit, but not substantially. People will definitely sell off if the P/E ratio hits above 90 in the first month of this quarter. That would put us somewhere around 1600/160 per share.
Not really, most brokers have facilitated buying fractional shares of stocks for about 30 years.

I will add 6% to my position of NVDA at a certain point. But I believe there will be a correction coming. There are 2 gaps. One should get filled. So the stock could go back down to around 1020 at a certain point.

Will the NPUs replace the GPUs for AI ?

It seems a GPU is more all encompassing. I think Nvidia will probably add NPU's to their GPUs, but I don't think there would be need to transition over to NPU's, removing the GPU from the platform.

Don´t you think that the already huge customer base that Nvidia has around their personal GPUs, would make the jump to having an Nvidia CPU? Remmeber that this market is full of people that are "hyperfans" of Nvidia products and would buy it just beacuse is Nvidia, even if there are better cheaper options in the market.
I'm thinking to put some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and i overheard some friends saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
Time in the market always beats timing the market. Find solid companies you believe in and start investing. Or just invest into an ETF (VOO) is great for example. Doesn’t need to be 200k right away or even 50k. I’m not a financial advisor but sitting on large amounts of money with this kind of inflation is just losing money.
I wouldn't hesitate to drop 10% on nvda, however I thought candlesticks were for adding ambiance.
