Whenever Sherpa's excited, he's a brand new pup at heart, he looks wise and thoughtful, whenever he sits still to enjoy the scenery. And he can be super-funny and silly whenever he speaks! I think that's why everyone loves him so much!

inside each 40-year-old you find either two 20-year-olds wondering what the fluff happened, or five 8-year-olds, all having a fabulous time. It's largely a matter of choice. I'm glad Sherpa goes with the latter option today. Thank you for sharing, Jamie.

It was really great to see Sherpa play like a puppy even if it is just for a day every now and then . Jamie the reason he's able to play like a puppy is because of how good you take care of him .

It's because we care about Sherpa and yourself, Jamie. We all get tired when we've exercised and Sherpa is no different. It's so lovely to see this side of Sherpa. He's building himself up for a play day with Ki🤔😁🥰sending a hug to Jamie and Sherpa 🥰❤🥰🐾🐾🐾🐕
The most important reason that Sherpa's so energetic on his age of 12,5 years is the upbringing by an equally mobile dad like Jamie. When Sherpie lives on like this he's gonna be also literal and figurative immortal.

With a senior cat, I know what it's like to see them play less. She's absolutely fine health wise, with the vet remarking that even though she's 18, her physical health is that of a cat much younger. Younger than some cats of that age. The only signs of Kit's age are that she sleeps more & has lost some weight, which is completely natural. Yet when she does play, it's brilliant seeing her still able to scare the living daylights out of her little brother, then squeaking & running away to peer around a door at him, planning to launch another attack on him. Her favourite 'toy' has always been, rather oddly, an old 30cm ruler out. Wiggling it in front of her, she loves to attack it. Stick it under something, like the rug, blanket or even a newspaper, she turns into instant kitten mode.
My dog, at 17, was always the same with an empty plastic bottle or a yoghurt pot, despite the fact his diabetes had caused him to go blind, which combined with his arthritis, meant he was very slow moving (more precautionary than anything else). Yet you give him an empty plastic bottle? You'd never know he was 17 - a senior dog who was not only blind, but had arthritis & a heart condition to boot.
They definitely have their good days and bad days don't they 😊

I just think he looks the biz with the yellow coat. It's gorgeous and I think he likes it, also the navy one is fabulous. Changed days from when we had Bruno our rottweiler. The rest of our dogs were small, 2 Maltese, a township special which you call a Heinz 57 and a jack Russell. We brought the one Maltese (whò was our granddog) and our Jack Russell to UK but when the Maltese died I had a breakdown for 2 years and my husband said NO MORE, NOT EVEN A BIRD. We have been here almost 11 years now but have not had any pets since Cindy, about 6 years now and we're in our 70s so it's too late. I love ❤ Sherpa so much. A big thank you 😊

I remember when my dogs were growing older and had slowed down quite a bit. I prayed for just one more time of them getting into mischief. For some sign of them still being a puppy. Sherpa you sure put a big smile on my face today.

It's nice when your dog or cat has energy to spare. My cat Cosmo is turning 15 this summer and every now and then will run around the house like a crazy kitten. He also loves to spend time outside exploring my backyard.
