What kind of insulation is used in the kiln? I’m thinking about buying a container and building one. Is it spray foam or just foam board?

It's 2 layers of 1" foam boards

I can't speak to what you would pay for new. It cost me 12k to buy it from a guy who didn't want to saw and dry anymore. It cost another 3k to move it and get power hooked up along with some miscellaneous stuff.
