I started sleeping in of the mornings. My husband called me one morning and asked me why I wasn't up watching your videos? I told him you just had a beautiful baby girl and you are spending time with her,Benjamin and resting. I hear him mumble under his breath. I said,Excuse me, I didn't hear what you said? He got quiet. I said, What did you say? He said, Thank the Lord, cause every time I watch one of your videos I call and say, You need to build me so and so. You need to get me some of this cause Laura said now is a good time to get started on planting these plants. I started laughing and said, Well honey, you might have a week off and then I will be calling you saying, Laura said, That this needs to be done, or we need to do this cause Laura said now is a good time to start so and so. He said, Does she ever just CHILL OUT? I laughed, I said she's a tiny tornado. I told him about all the projects that you guy's are going to be doing. He said, Thank you Lord, that we don't have all that land! I smiled and said, but your dad does ( he lives right beside us. And, he has bee hives. Of course, this girl doesn't get close to them) I asked my father in law if I can plant some flowers in the field close to our house? He said, I don't care what you do. Plant whatever you want. I smiled and said, Thanks dad. Of course, Ricky is standing behind me shaking is head no at his dad. His dad asked Ricky ,Why were you shaking your head no for? The flowers will be good for my bee's. I turned to look at my husband with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on my face. But darn it he got his shot in to. He said, Remember last year when we were taking pictures of some flowers and that bee got in your hair and you were running around waving your arms like a monkey at the zoo? I said, Yes, and gave a little shudder. He said, (with a laugh) wait until you get in a field full of flowers and the BEES ARE ALL OVER THE FLOWERS. What then? I think I saw him patting himself on his back as he walked away...🤔😠. Maybe the bee's will stay away when I am around the flowers...🤭😉😊. I am excited to see more videos of you and your sweet family and what new adventures you guy's get into!!

Oh he speaks up and gives his opinions on thing's, sometimes Laura likes them, sometimes she doesn't..lol. They make a great team! I just enjoy watching them create beautiful things. My son would ask me what I wanted for Mother's Day. I always told him flowers that can be sat out in my yard. One year he bought me this beautiful pink rose bush. Every year it puts out these big beautiful blooms. I cherish the rose bush cause that was the last gift I got from my son for Mother's Day. My son was a Lineman. On November 28th, 2016, my son was killed while restoring power. He was 29 years old. My life changed forever. He was our life. He loved life. Always had a smile on his face and loved playing practical jokes on you. He was married and has 2 beautiful children. Garrett who is 9 looks just like his dad. Emma is 6, and can't sit still. Just like her daddy. He adored his little family. When I see little Benjamin playing with his cars and tractors, he reminds me of Brian. Brian loved the outdoors! I think Brian and Benjamin would have a great time together. Benjamin would have dirt from head to toe...lol.

Sooo... a few weeks ago... THAT was Laura on no sleep 😳... NOW she feels like a new woman!??? She's more productive with insomnia 9 months pregnant with an almost 10lb baby in het than I am on a regular day. Now she's gotten sleep we better watch out!! Lol

I never knew how much I wanted a grandbaby until my grandson was born 14 years ago! Getting to be with him almost every day of his life has been such a wonderful gift, can't imagine not being near him.
I remember my father telling me he loved his children but having a grandchild ignited a love he had trouble describing. I knew exactly how he felt when I became a grandmother.

I have two girls two boys and to me the girls was easer for some reason and they are all grown now from 45 to 31 19 grandkids and 6 great grandkids and just love it I'm blessed
Awww this is the first time I have seen Samantha Grace's eyes open. She is so precious and you can tell she is mellow and not a demanding baby. Laura you are so sweet to be concerned about us. Beautiful girl!! I had same experiences. My daughter stayed easy and she is 20. My son paved the way for us so every 1st seemed more intense, I guess. But as a baby, he was a lot more work than she was. She always went with the flow of the house and her brothers schedule. She went with me when I volunteered for preschool parties for him and sports practice and games , til it was her turn. Rules we had for the 2 of them, he never put his hands on her no matter how annoying she got. He is 6'7" now and was always big. We encouraged them to be supportive and kind to each other. They are good friends to this day!!

I had a hard time with pansies last year. They did nothing forever. So I put them in a clear plastic tub with a clear lid and put them outside like a mini cold frame. They were protected from wind but had some real sun and lower temps. They finally germinated! So I brought them back in to finish off and they actually did well. It was an experiment but seemed to work 🤷🏼♀️

Congratulations! I had a similar experience with my two. The first was such an intense baby that my second laid back son was a shock! 😆 I found myself checking on him constantly, like “how can he be so chill?” Enjoy these precious days!

Thank you for checking in. I have two kids and as they get to adulthood their “maintenance” as parents can change drastically. My easy baby is so high maintenance nowadays as she is getting ready to go to college! Love the updates and remembering our babies.

The pansies I started last week were my first seeds I have ever started indoors.... so I am as much of a Newbie if there ever was one... but when I did my research I read somewhere to cover my container to give them complete darkness to germinate so I put them in a cupboard with a shirt over the dome.... that was a week ago and I already have over half of them coming up! That is just what Google told me to do, so take it for what it’s worth 😂 Enjoy your time with your family, you will never get it back! All the garden stuff will still be there when you have time for it. 💖 we will all still be here too. You guys have created too wonderful of a community for us to jump ship just because you aren’t producing as much content at the moment. Thanks for all the inspiration, both in the garden and the home!

I never knew how much I wanted a grandbaby until my grandson was born 14 years ago! Getting to be with him almost every day of his life has been such a wonderful gift, can't imagine not being near him.

My first born was my son and it felt like he never slept. My daughter came almost 2 1/2 years later and my husband and I thought something was wrong with her since she would sleep all night. Your daughter is beautiful! It is so good to spend some time with you this morning. 💕from NC.

Same! My firstborn son didn't sleep through the night until he was 11 months old. When we had our second, a daughter, totally different. Mama got some sleep at night!

Beautiful girl!! I had same experiences. My daughter stayed easy and she is 20. My son paved the way for us so every 1st seemed more intense, I guess. But as a baby, he was a lot more work than she was. She always went with the flow of the house and her brothers schedule. She went with me when I volunteered for preschool parties for him and sports practice and games , til it was her turn. Rules we had for the 2 of them, he never put his hands on her no matter how annoying she got. He is 6'7" now and was always big. We encouraged them to be supportive and kind to each other. They are good friends to this day!!

I had a hard time with pansies last year. They did nothing forever. So I put them in a clear plastic tub with a clear lid and put them outside like a mini cold frame. They were protected from wind but had some real sun and lower temps. They finally germinated! So I brought them back in to finish off and they actually did well. It was an experiment but seemed to work 🤷🏼♀️
They def want cooler temps than other seeds.

Thank you for checking in. I have two kids and as they get to adulthood their “maintenance” as parents can change drastically. My easy baby is so high maintenance nowadays as she is getting ready to go to college! Love the updates and remembering our babies.

The pansies I started last week were my first seeds I have ever started indoors.... so I am as much of a Newbie if there ever was one... but when I did my research I read somewhere to cover my container to give them complete darkness to germinate so I put them in a cupboard with a shirt over the dome.... that was a week ago and I already have over half of them coming up! That is just what Google told me to do, so take it for what it’s worth 😂
Enjoy your time with your family, you will never get it back! All the garden stuff will still be there when you have time for it. 💖 we will all still be here too. You guys have created too wonderful of a community for us to jump ship just because you aren’t producing as much content at the moment.
