is these tests from a special exam or clinic? i've seen many of these on UA-cam and my doctor does none of this. he sees me and just looks at me, barely an exam at all, and if i have something wrong, i tell him and he says this or that and gives me a perscription. just curious.
Carrdain depends where you are. if you go to the doctors here in the uk because you have something wrong, you tell the doctor your symptoms they will first check in the area they feel is relevant (if you describe heart pains they would check your heart, if you describe what sounds like a common cold they’d check your mouth, ears, temperature, glands etc) rather than the whole body, as exams like this are a waste of time if the dr sort of knows what he’s looking for. however some people (especially elderly people or some with continuing conditions) have regular full assessments, such as once a year. i’ve never really heard of many of these being done though, and i feel as if here you may be tested on it in med school just so they know you can test every part of the body.
