It’s weird to compare your traumatic experience as a man to something you’d never experience. Even women who’ve never had a child could fathom what pp could be because at the end of the day we still have hormones and we know how much that can shift our emotional and physical well being. So we can only imagine that on a larger scale that’s why the woman who’s never been pregnant can still speak to that experience being incomparable to his experience.

You can’t say the girl is speaking from inexperience because she never had a baby, but at the same time you (as a man) NEVER had a baby, so how do you known YOURSELF what postpartum feels like.
