So.. what was your favorite Carcharodontosaurid in the video?
The Carcharodontosaurid I first knew about was Concavenator and its my fav cus bruh

Acrocanthosaurus but it is not in this list
Mapusaurus
@@v-rexmonster8167 OHHH NO DANG I FORGOT IT!... I though of adding it..
@@prehistoricpaddock9013 Have Carcharodontosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus Saharicus. They are diferents, Saharicus have 15 tons, largest in weight than Giganotossauro. Have 2 diferents Carcharodotonsaurus species.
Acrocanthosaurus? Like one of the most famous in the family
is it not an allosauridae ? or am i mistaken ?
@@19megamustaine85 Technically yes and no. Carcharodontosauridae is a subgroup of the Allosauridae. Allosaurs evolved into the Carcharodontosaurs. So you could say yes, but the specific family it belongs to are the Carcharodontosauridae. All of these dinosaurs link back to Allosauridae to be fair
Saurophaganx ?
Actually the largest Mapusaurus specimen weighed almost 7000kg according to the latest GDI estimates, Carcharodontosaurs and Tyrannotitan were actually a tad bit lighter at about 6400kg, and also the estimates for the Giganotosaurus holotype range from that to 6840kg, given that it's the only well preserved specimen, that's the only credible size estimate that can be made for the animal
Recently Scott Hartman and others made larger estimates for Carcharodontosaurs but the latest reavaluations resulted in downsizing, as for Giga, the only other known specimen was MUCP v 95, which was just a dentary fragment, it was initially estimated to be 6 to 8% longer than the holotype dentary, which resulted in the inflated 8000+ kg figures, but a closer look revealed that it had 2 more alveoli or tooth sockets, so it was only larger because a larger portion of the bone was preserved, realistically it's only 2.2% longer than the holotype dentary, which results in a slightly higher mass if the animals had the same proportions, 6840*(1.022^2.2)=7300kg, but proportions vary widely among individuals and even greater differences have been observed in animals of the same size, so the animal has about the same chance of being the same size or even smaller than the holotype, so confidently, Giga weighed about 7000kg based on the few specimens we have
Yes
Proof?
@@fanaticbuster8856 Mazzeta et al 2004; 6510 kg , Campione et al. 2014; 6349 kg, Seebacher 2001 ; 6,594.8 kg, check the studies out for yourself to see

reallly? if you compare a giganto head wich is really not porpotionate with its body (really big head to body ratio) your scalement is pretty off i once had the chance to see the a part of the chest bones (ripcage) of a giga well its almost the size of an blue whale
Can you compare abeilisauridae please???
will see..
And the Acrocanthosaurus???
Acrocanthosaurus"
Where is altispinax
You didn't mention Allosaurus or Acrocanthosaurus.
Allosaurus wasn't a Carcharodontosaurid. It was an Allosaurid.
Where is acrocanthosaurus?
Is torosaurus and allosaurus and megalosaurus are charcharodontosaurids
No one are megalosauridae and carcharodontosauridae is allosauridea it torosaurus a ceratop

@@audronrhedsantos1050 I wasn't really looking at the sizes of them compared to the human, I was just looking at the "facts" that he listed and so I was confused why you said that 11 feet is taller than 12 feet
Considerable, It's just the video is presented in a scale-like manner so it would be more appropriate if the dinosaur figures or images are modified to match its
size scale.

Ew that's like comparing steak, who does that?
@@TD-ht8dz idk what you mean by that but I'm guessing you are calling hadrosaurs "free food" for large predators
Edmontosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Shantungosaurus, and others can all win a fight with a tyrannosaurus
@@raptor5034 you guess wrong, that's not what I was saying at all, I said it was like comparing steak, steak is pretty expensive, I know that they aren't just free food on legs, there would be difficulty in taking them down, but I disagree that any of those would win in a fight against a fully grown adult Tyrannosaurus Rex that is experienced and doesn't have any physical disabilities or injuries and are not sick either, they would not be push overs or super easy prey at all, they just also wouldn't win in a fight, that's like a tiger vs a buffalo, the Tiger wins, but it's still not easy
