Girl...Hi, My name is Becky and I'm 50 years old. I've been a Christian since I was 12 and have always struggled with prayer.
Especially praying out loud in front of other people. I LOVE Max Lucado's books and have that same one in your video. Thank you for all you do to help some of us that have the same struggles. I do write out my prayer and that seems to help.
Priscilla Shirer (the main character in War Room) also wrote an amazing book on prayer called "Fervent". It's definitely an eye opener into strategic prayer.

My problem is that i cant kneel and pray, bcz i get distracted. However whenever i write my prayer i feel like im connecting with God.
I've learned that basic prayers are in the morning giving thanks and praise, pray before every meal, and before bed. But in between those, seeking God daily is so so important 💕

Girl tell me why I was struggling with prayer and your video popped up. I went to Bible Study today and I just don't know how to pray because my mind wonders so much! I have a prayer journal and I literally have it in my shelf just sitting there. This is really encouraging!

Finding your channel has really helped me to grow in my faith and love for Jesus Christ. I just wanted to thank you for thus amazing video as I have struggled with similar things except it is actually quite the opposite for me. I absolutely love to pray and spend time with God especially at night, although I struggle with praying in front of people. However reading the bible for some reason us difficult for me. I have a hard time not being lazy and picking up Gods words to read it although I know all the bible stories by heart because I grew up in a christian family. But reading books like proverbs and psalms, etc. I just find it difficult to follow. Since watching your channel God gas used you and other youtubers to light a passionate fire in me to read his word. Thank you for your courage in sharing your faith God has amazing things for you. Hunny, I have to tell you something! God is totally blessing you to bless me, because I am currently in a prayer slump right now and like you I have been a lot of times in my life. I think it's kinda of normal because we are all flesh but yes we do need to overcome it through the power of the Holy Spirit!! God blessed me too by this because He's telling me not to give up in praying for my future husband! He told me months ago in prayer that I will have a God fearing husband as well as three children: Noah, Elizabeth and Isaiah and that my husband will be or is currently a pastor!!! And your section about on praying for your future husband was God's way of telling me to not give up on praying for him!
This video was so so inspiring, I'm still trying to figure out my prayer journal and how I want to set that part of my life up. Also Your makeup always looks so so perfect! You should film a Christian based Q&A and mix it in with a makeup tutorial!!

Prayer is simply having a conversation with God. He wants to hear us like most parents enjoy hearing from their children. The more we talk, the deeper relationship we can have. God wants to have a deep relationship with us. Ask him, talk to him and that is a prayer.

There are several different versions.

I am learning that there is so much to pray about and sometimes I feel guilty for leaving something/someone out.
