PaleoHikerMD yep. This was her 5th year at Kanakuk. She did K west this term.
That’s pretty crazy man! I’ll be Kamp Doctor at K West in a few weeks, and my daughter will be there for two weeks after. My son will be at K1 I think. I know when I saw the K it was Kanakuk :)

I just got an A&B case. I wanted to see how others felt about them. It takes a bit to figure out how the peelible seal works. I hand mine off to my pet gorilla. It is pretty smart. It threw it back at me after 5 minuted hooting it's disgust. They are designed to toss out of an aircraft with no parachute and not bust so peelable is rather optimistic. I have been sampling just about every incarnation since the fifties. I keep wondering if the people who design them actually taste them. Just give me a regular drink mix and a vitamin rather than a fortified one. I do like how you rate them. Alot of them do taste like off the shelf canned food. On occasion you find one that's really good. No one ever did figure out what to do with the freeze dried hashbrowns.

I hate how there's so much corn syrup, high fructose syrup and other toxic ingredients (list is too long tbh) in these MREs. Surely it can be made without all this crap. Also many things are extremely sweet and an aftertaste to everything.
