I like that, while villains most of the time attack or make fun of Hater, deep down they know that, if he chooses to, he can _absolutely_ *destroy* them.
More like if they get on his nerves bad enough that he can focus his energy (in more ways than one) on taking them out. He's easy enough to distract under normal circumstances, but when he goes full destruction mode he's hyper focused.

The whole setup of this show is brilliant: Sylvia and Hater are the muscle on opposite teams, Wander and Peepers are the brains on opposite teams. But Hater's power is derived largely from devices and his undead nature, while Sylvia's power is straight up fighting skill (also ranged vs melee primarily). Wander is wise where it counts most, and Peepers is incredibly cunning, not that it matters considering how little Hater is capable of sticking to the plan. Which leads naturally to how neither Hater nor Wander seem to be able to focus on completing the task in front of them, unlike Peepers and Sylvia whom are much more methodical overall.
To be fair, Peepers is also incredibly ripped
