Don’t sweat it bud, the most important part is ok, you. KLR’s endure, near “immortal”, a few scrapes is all. Live, learn and ride. I luv my KLR too🌞Stay up👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Yeah after washing it this morning, it helped a bit. Battle scars are bound to happen. I'll wait til it succumbs to more scratches before I replace anything lol
No big deal, you can sand n repaint the crash bars n racks n maybe massage the plastic parts a little. But, most KLR 650s get the heck beat out them and they keep on trucking.
For me crash bars are a must and I think they look pretty good on motorcycles, but those scratches don't look too bad! maybe reconsider getting a set crash bars
Oh yeah definitely! Yeah scratches are minimal. I'm a showroom kinda guy. Always keeping vehicles shiny. So any scratches on a brand new toy hurt lol. But I've put 130 miles on it since then lol. Back to riding and enjoying the views!
Ummm ...wrist guard?? Hey bro, you ain't riding til u dump it. Ice ridden for 30 yrs and I dump my 22 Klr all the time, bits of fairings broken, scratches, dents. It's Klr, that's how u do it! Glad u ok
Wrist guard, wind guard, whatever it's called lol. Came stock. Honestly, I don't really need these in Florida, don't have to worry about cold air on my hands lol. I'll leave em on until they break or I learn to hate them lol Its definitely a fun bike! And yeah, I'm glad I dropped it at a low speed. Couldn't imagine crashing harder
I was so anal about mine, but theni would see people with $15-20k bikes putting them through hell and then i decided to take care of it but use it n enjoy it. My seat did get better with time
After 25 years away from motorcycle, I bought my new 2023 KLR 650 two months ago and dropped twice during slow speed turn. Found out 2023 KLR 650 has steering issue. Anyway having fun and keep practicing the new bike.
All those scratches! I don't know how you could even ride that in public anymore... Sucks!! Or you could just acknowledge that's an off road style bike and is SUPPOSED to have scratches. 🤷 Get some different tires and the proper riding gear. Klim

The type 2 frame slider Kawasaki sells saved me the same fate… glad there weren’t any injuries
These things happen. I'm sure you can touch up spray some of it.
But .... beautiful bike.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it!

Not me, bar end protection is mandatory since it falls on them first over anything.

Yeah I was hoping to get some content filmed on it first before any drops lol
Not too bad. That might buff out?
Washed it and all the scratches are pretty decent. I'll live with it until it's time to upgrade some more stuff

It's a fun bike for sure!
Why you mean to the KLR ?
I'll make it up to her by getting new tires lol
@@OurMagicalJourneyFL Don't get Dunlop 605's, total junk almost bald in 2 months, had the stocks IRCs for over 2 yrs .
Learn to ride.
😁
They say every rider is bound to drop a bike at least once in their life... so let's hope I'm good now! Haha

Lol I wasn't expecting it within 3 weeks of owning. Maybe a year down the road.
