My first thoughts exactly is that this is a live action of Foster's home for imaginary friends right down to the name but that opinion changed when I saw the name and everything going on this amazing trailer. Being a lover of open-mindedness and imagination has me really wanting to see this movie and it does look extremely delightful and yes I have seen Foster's home for imaginary friends and the critically reviled but personally loved Drop-dead Fred so I think it's safe to say I'm a lover of imagination even at 35 years old

There was a show called Happy! a few years ago with the same premise of someone being able to see imaginary friends. It's not that groundbreaking.

I get suspicion this movie is gonna be far more emotional than it seems to be on this trailer. Just the sequence of a big blue IF trying to put their hands on his (now older) imaginary friend' shoulder... I think it's gonna be gut wrecking moments

If this ends up being a box office success, I can imagine a TV show based on the film, with Nickelodeon and Paramount Television co-producing it.
Or maybe a cartoon network show where they run a foster home and help rehome imaginary friends. Maybe it can center around a kid who is getting too old for an imaginary friend and what he does to still hold onto that friend in spite of what everyone else says....

Yep, John Krasinski is a great actor, producer, writer and director with some producing help from Ryan Reynolds as both have brought the greatest people he could find for John Krasinski's wonderful movie for all the people who has kids of their own including his and Ryan's they have with their wives Emily Blunt and Blake Lively.
John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and some of the cast of the movie are parents themselves and this wonderful film is gonna be something that their kids will love and enjoy.

Emily Blunt was priorly cast for both Gnomeo and Juliet and Sherlock Gnomes, Into the Woods, Mary Poppins Returns and Jungle Cruise. Sebastian Maniscalco voiced Spike in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fiona Shaw starred in the live-action Mario film and Pixels, Steve Carell voiced Felonious Gru, Awkwafina voiced Sisu and a photorealistic Scuttle, Matt Damon voiced Koichi (Sosuke's father) and Jon Stewart was cast for Doogal.
100% throws me back Foster's home for imaginary friends especially since one of the main characters is called Blue(Bloo). Can't wait to see it 😆!!

This feels like a family-friendly version of SYFY Happy! With a mixed of Foster's home for imaginary friends. (They also include the guy who plays the former detective to play an imaginary friend (from Happy!)).
There was even Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and the imaginary muffin from the clip of custom muffins which was how I discovered and started using UA-cam.

I never seen Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends before but this is definitely a live-action Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I never had an IF before but I possibly will if a book of this movie comes out. I like Blue, aka Grimace from McDonaldland even though I prefer Hamburgular (Robble robble) or Mayor McCheese. I didn't know he was played by Steve Carell and Bea, played by Cailey Fleming. I thought Steve Buscemi voiced Blue.

When I saw the female character, the first thing I thought of was “Bendy and the Ink Machine”, apparently. She definitely looks more realistic than some other recent CGI, though, in my opinion.
