Rather the old school handbrake...some new cars with the ebrake etc cannot be disengaged if experiencing technical issues so will need a flat bed to tow
This Vitara is certainly labeled incorrectly. Why? Well this new Grand Vitara has a smaller engine than the std Vitara, no Turbo, no low range & not a ladder chassis vehicle. It's also not able go off-road as the original Grand Vitara is capable of.
No turbo = more driveable in older cities, off-road and in hot climes. Turbo has drawbacks. The little 1500 is adequate if you are a good driver, and a good driver adaps to the vehicle.
The Suzuki is hands down winner. Base model better than Toyotas top spec. 5 year warranty and 6 year service plan to only mention a few

Initially a Nipponese design, just assembled in India.
