Pit Loom' is a type of loom which is fit in a pit where the weavers make the fabric through the use of pedals, and normally the base of pit loom is more strong than handloom.
In this loom yarn work inside the pit so that the warp yarn may absorb moisture and give better weaving result.
HOW to make fabric pit Hand loom
Picking process is done by transferring shuttle from one box to another. An average weaver can weave with a medium width fly shuttle loom at 80-100 picks per minute.
