He probably had a run called and checked out due to the Bama defense. Bama started showing Frome some fake defenses in the second half that confused him and made it difficult for him to check out correctly. Great game and great game plan, one player changed the entire spirit of the Alabama team. They went with talent and passing team. 6 true freshman on the field for the TD pass that won it. You won a game on the last play, we won a game on the last play, we both lost a Championship game on the last play. It hurts but you are ahead of schedule and will have more chances. We missed on two chances or it could have been 7 in 9 years. It will hurt but the Alabama players were able to use that hurt to win a NC when they should not have been in the picture. They lost 9 different linebackers at times. 3 of them really great players and a more that will be. Yet despite the horrible injury luck they had other luck. It takes all of it. What a kicker UGA has please tell me he is a senior...lol Good luck next year. I doubt we will ever play for the NC again because they would probably fix it where we had to play each other in the semifinal round to avold two SEC teams again. Great game still do not know how you lost to AU. I know how we did and why we were too injured and to beat up. We could have went to Tua then and I was surprised we did not but we played so bad in every phase I do not think he wanted to blow his confidence. Uga blew a coverage that's what lost the game. We sacked tua for 16 yards and give up the game winning TD on the next play. How was uga not expecting a pass on 2nd and 26? Why wasn't there 2 safeties each covering half of the field? That sack put Bama out of field goal range. Not to make excuses but the two personal fouls not called in game cost uga 2 drive first downs. And we blocked a punt and recovered it at the 15, refs called us offside even though we weren't. We would have scored on the next drive had the call not been made ( at least a field goal ) . We still should've won despite those huge calls and non calls. I blame Kirby for not having the defense ready in OT
1. I’m an Alabama fan but I think Georgia thought that Alabama was trying to do a short pass on 2nd and 26 to try and get into field goal range and kick a field goal. But what Georgia didn’t understand was that Alabama wanted a touchdown because of the kicker we had and because they wanted to end the game as quickly as possible. But you’re wrong about Kirby Smart. He always has his defense ready. Kirby Smart had his defense ready for overtime. It was the defensive coordinator and defensive coaches fault for the bad defensive play calling that cost you guys the game, not Kirby Smart. If the defensive coaches had called a cover 4 you guys could’ve won the game, but didn’t. 2. I agree that those 2 calls should’ve been called. The facemask on Nick Chubb and when a cornerback pushed Jake Fromm’s head into the ground. But at the end of the day a real team is supposed to overcome these obstacles and win which is something Georgia couldn’t do. 3. Okay, that block punt would’ve been called back. If you watch the play again there was an Alabama player offside as well which would’ve made the play a dead play and would have Alabama kick it again. 4. Not making any excuses either but Georgia offensive line was holding ALL night. I saw it on almost every play and Georgia had also gotten extra yards on a play. It was on the play before Georgia scored a touchdown before it was halftime. The wide receiver stepped out of bounds at a specific spot but let Georgia get about an extra yard or two. Not to mention Georgia had gotten that 80 yard touchdown which should’ve been stopped right where the receiver foot was on the line. It might have not been exactly out of bounds but there was no grass in between his foot and the line which should’ve stopped the play right there but it got Georgia 7 points. 5. Georgia had plenty of chances so they should blame it on themselves. I’ve never seen a damn team in my 14 years of life screw themselves over so much. They were at home, at the heart of Georgia in Atlanta. They had all the momentum a team could have in a game and were leading 13-0 in half time. And to top it off when Alabama scored Georgia had scored as well making the score 20-7 which still made Georgia have 13 point lead. Then that’s when Georgia had gotten their ass handed to them by a group of freshmen. Not sophomores or juniors but fucking freshmen. Freshmen who had barely any playing time this year but ended up defeating Georgia. And Georgia was also lucky that Alabama didn’t score their points. Jalen Hurts over threw a wide open touchdown and our kicker missed about 2 easy field goals and one of those field goals sent the game into overtime. Then to top it off Georgia kicked a long field goal and then they had a chance to stop Alabama. They were out of field goal range and it was second down. But decided to do a cover 2 which cost them the game. So many chances for a team that could’ve won. But it’s over and I’m looking forward to next season. Roll Tide!

I doubt we will ever play for the NC again because they would probably fix it where we had to play each other in the semifinal round to avold two SEC teams again. Great game still do not know how you lost to AU. I know how we did and why we were too injured and to beat up. We could have went to Tua then and I was surprised we did not but we played so bad in every phase I do not think he wanted to blow his confidence. Uga blew a coverage that's what lost the game. We sacked tua for 16 yards and give up the game winning TD on the next play. How was uga not expecting a pass on 2nd and 26? Why wasn't there 2 safeties each covering half of the field? That sack put Bama out of field goal range. Not to make excuses but the two personal fouls not called in game cost uga 2 drive first downs. And we blocked a punt and recovered it at the 15, refs called us offside even though we weren't. We would have scored on the next drive had the call not been made ( at least a field goal ) . We still should've won despite those huge calls and non calls. I blame Kirby for not having the defense ready in OT
1. I’m an Alabama fan but I think Georgia thought that Alabama was trying to do a short pass on 2nd and 26 to try and get into field goal range and kick a field goal. But what Georgia didn’t understand was that Alabama wanted a touchdown because of the kicker we had and because they wanted to end the game as quickly as possible. But you’re wrong about Kirby Smart. He always has his defense ready. Kirby Smart had his defense ready for overtime. It was the defensive coordinator and defensive coaches fault for the bad defensive play calling that cost you guys the game, not Kirby Smart. If the defensive coaches had called a cover 4 you guys could’ve won the game, but didn’t. 2. I agree that those 2 calls should’ve been called. The facemask on Nick Chubb and when a cornerback pushed Jake Fromm’s head into the ground. But at the end of the day a real team is supposed to overcome these obstacles and win which is something Georgia couldn’t do. 3. Okay, that block punt would’ve been called back. If you watch the play again there was an Alabama player offside as well which would’ve made the play a dead play and would have Alabama kick it again. 4. Not making any excuses either but Georgia offensive line was holding ALL night. I saw it on almost every play and Georgia had also gotten extra yards on a play. It was on the play before Georgia scored a touchdown before it was halftime. The wide receiver stepped out of bounds at a specific spot but let Georgia get about an extra yard or two. Not to mention Georgia had gotten that 80 yard touchdown which should’ve been stopped right where the receiver foot was on the line. It might have not been exactly out of bounds but there was no grass in between his foot and the line which should’ve stopped the play right there but it got Georgia 7 points. 5. Georgia had plenty of chances so they should blame it on themselves. I’ve never seen a damn team in my 14 years of life screw themselves over so much. They were at home, at the heart of Georgia in Atlanta. They had all the momentum a team could have in a game and were leading 13-0 in half time. And to top it off when Alabama scored Georgia had scored as well making the score 20-7 which still made Georgia have 13 point lead. Then that’s when Georgia had gotten their ass handed to them by a group of freshmen. Not sophomores or juniors but fucking freshmen. Freshmen who had barely any playing time this year but ended up defeating Georgia. And Georgia was also lucky that Alabama didn’t score their points. Jalen Hurts over threw a wide open touchdown and our kicker missed about 2 easy field goals and one of those field goals sent the game into overtime. Then to top it off Georgia kicked a long field goal and then they had a chance to stop Alabama. They were out of field goal range and it was second down. But decided to do a cover 2 which cost them the game. So many chances for a team that could’ve won. But it’s over and I’m looking forward to next season. Roll Tide!
