Hi Amy love seeing your WIP's. I too will be stitching football helmets for 2025 out of my new starts for 2025. Love the angel piece on the blue. I have been looking at my old magazines and patterns and will be stitching some smalls for gifts in 2025 along with my 25 new starts. I always enjoy watching your channel you bring back some memories of old magazines and I love it. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Amy - I love that blue fabric for that piece; it's beautiful! I like the idea of doing Christmas ornaments for WIPGO. That might be what I do for 2026. Happy stitching! - TaMara
Your angel sampler is looking so good. That’s funny that you were saying you aren’t very brave in changing floss colors or fabric colors. When we started our piece I was so impressed that you picked your fabric. It is a great choice. Btw… just a word of warning watching your sons pictures for grad festivities -even 100 times will not lessen the tears. It’s such a bittersweet time!! Hang in there! We were made to give them wings!
I know...I laughed in my head too but I still don't feel confident about the color changing : ) And I also agree- we raise them to leave, not to stay. The Lord has a plan for them, who am I to get in His way. Thank you for the reminder friend!
So close to being finished on the secret projects - must feel so good! Sometimes the color changes fail miserably for me, but I just take it as a lesson learned 🙂. I love the blue you chose (okay, this sentence surprises nobody 🤣).
At m LNS we can bring in magazines and patterns to add to their freebie box. There have been some cool older magazines in the bin. You would love it. Congratulations on finishing your Christmas shopping. 🦉❄️🎅🏼❄️❄️❄️
How lovely that your LNS offers that! One day, I'll get over to Stich Niche in Arlington to see if they have something like that. Thank you for the idea to check, friend (enabler : )
I used to have a goal to have 95% of our Christmas shopping finished before Halloween. I achieved that many years, but I've fallen off the wagon in the past few! I stitched on Jane Thompson 1838 while I watched your great video tonight - thanks, Amy!
Love Jane Thompson! My sister is like that. She has most, if not all, done by Halloween. I have started early, but usually think I'll have time later and put things off, then end up out and about with lots of other people. I'm still picking up one or two things that I've missed, but over all in a good place...... I hope : ) Looking forward to stitching with you this evening, friend!
Hi Amy, great stitching. I think the helmets would look great as ornaments. I'm not great at changing colours either, maybe start with a freebie, something small. Happy stitching.
Glad you had a good thanksgiving. The Angels piece looks so good on the blue. It is hard sometimes to step away from the normal. I’m not always successful with my color choices, but it is awesome when it all comes together. Your pieces are looking so good. Congrats on almost being done with the presents for your husband and kids. I love the idea of turn the kid’s into ornaments. I stitch everything whenever. I just do what calls to me.
I feel better about switching neutrals but really want to think about 'bigger' changes. It's definitely motivating to see your changes! Thank you for your encouragement, friend!
I'm surprised to hear you say picking your own fabric colors is out of your comfort zone. When I first saw you hand dyed your fabric, I never would have known you felt that way. 😊
I have dyed some bright colors that I've used for smalls but still not confident. They turned out okay. But they are also small and can be hidden if on a shelf or tree or in a dough bowl : ) Can't hide that sampler-ha!

No it does not surprise me, but that's lovely to know who's blue with me : )

Hi Amy! Yes, making color changes can be tricky, and sometimes it causes “decision fatigue”!
Yes, that's it...always wondering and second guessing...and soooo many lovely options.
I haven’t even started Christmas shopping, lol. 😬 I’m so glad you’re having fun stitching Beary Christmas!💛 Hope you have a lovely weekend.
I'm still picking up once/twosies that I have forgotten, but overall in a good place. Happy shopping, friend!
I love the project olwith the cardinals & of course the With thy needle & thread 🪡
Thank you for your encouragement, friend! Looking forward to stitching with y'all again soon!

Thank you friend! I'm thinking ornaments too for the helmets! Will be working on those this week : )
The Angel piece is pretty. I think I have that magazine. I’ll have to look for it
There are several in that magazine to stitch!
Hi Amy! I have the Christmas ornament booklet!! It's an old book! Thank you for the mention 😊 Take care. Always nice to see you and your flosstube!
Yay-How fun!!! Yes, it's an old book but I'm glad you found it. What, if anything, are you going to stitch? Have a lovely week, friend!
@@RenewingStitchesHmmm. I won't be stitching anything from the book this year for Christmas. But there's always next year. I forgot I had the book 🤣

Hi friend!
What do you mean you’re not everybody’s cup of tea? Who are these people and who hurt them?
LOL, you are so sweet, friend!
