In a way yes lol. But it's very cool because we can kinda see what ending we will get depending on the different princesses. If we think she's evil and make her into some of the scarier personalities we are probably more likely to kill her at the end. It really depends on how to you play the game and how your perspective changes
I was watching this girl play this game and she got to this chapter and she was so wholesome and then the mf just throws the princess' head away 😭😭😭 actual psychopath
I actually really like this route. You find your true choice after being genuinely railroaded the entire chapter, and you finally, though it hurts to hell and back, find your freedom. It's a powerful commentary on choice in the one chapter that really doesn't have much choice at all once you finally meet the Princess. You are in a cage just as much as she was, the cage that she so fatalistically accepted. You rise above accepting it, you make your decision yourself. She has literally bound you, and as you finally are unbound, you wrest control of the narrative yourself. It is almost a truer embrace of the Shifting Mound than to live the beautiful ending out with the Prisoner's head.
Oh, I remember how I consciously went on this route for achievement. How sad it is to do this, especially considering that she is apologizing all the time while you are getting up to the top of the cabin...
For me, not really. It might seem cruel but you're trapping yourself with Thorn and besides the blade barely reaches her heart, and we don't get the red text. It's not an ideal situation but it's actually quite tame. Here, however, by throwing her head down we're rising above her and showing her we don't need her. That is cruel. But nothing is crueler than stabbing wounded wild or trapping Apotheosis without making her understand how you feel.
Well, it doesn't really matter even if you do drop her. She still escapes, and the world ends all the same, so you don't even have any point to prove save that you're cruel.
The point within context is the actions you made up to this pointless aren't your own and dropping hernwojld be the first thing you'd be doing freely. Plus the hands taking her doesn't count as her escaping, it counts as her moving on
It's when you leave the princesses head in the basement in chapter 2 the prisoner. It got updated in the pristine cut so now it's actually different from the Grey
the most Contrarian choice in the game and he's not even here. I'd say he would be proud but even he has some ethical standards
Haha so true I didn't even think of that. Honestly he probably would have made us jump down the hole instead
Tbh Contrarian likes to piss of Narrator specifically
"We're not cruel for the sake of being cruel."Yeah , the damsel would like a word with you
Haha yes but it is up to us so we are the cruel ones
she suggested the funny and he did it, what a wholesome couple
“All that just to throw it all away? You’re Cold.” Well don’t lose your head over it
THAT'S WILD (hilarious)
Well at least you came out aHEAD
@@merlin5411 you better head out with these jokes
Ahead of the game I see.
@frostymac Aw man see you Necks time :>

It's so cool that this game is essentially just a big trick into you doing a personality test

"This one will make for a betrayed heart. Do not mourn her, for she got what she didn't expect."
That's hilarious 😂
Ironically this was the funniest section of the game for me
"FREE WILL CHUMP!!!" *YEET*
Idk.

Nah that's actually insane. Doing that first attempt is criminal
I love it
Narrator: “This would be so much easier if I didn’t have to contend with free wi- I stand corrected! 😳”
The shock in her eyes
I know I felt so bad. I didn't even want to get this ending I was just curious lol
Bro i laugh and also cried on how mess up that was.
@@frostymat45Isn't curiosity such a wonderful thing, too bad that in some situations we pay a heavy price to satisfy that curiosity.
I'm cruel, but in my defense, I thought it was funny , she'll kill me in the next chapter but dam that was good.

Eh I dunno. I'd say it's much better to accept things play out as they intended. We get to watch our bodies dance together.
Woops... Butter fingers
"Cold", the royal equivalent for "contrarian clown-hole".
The Narrator gets quite a bit more personality here, doesn't he.
Oh, I remember how I consciously went on this route for achievement. How sad it is to do this, especially considering that she is apologizing all the time while you are getting up to the top of the cabin...
I'd say it's sadder that she felt the need to apologise at all, it was just circumstance after all.
Damn that's just cruel.
"so, no head?"
This comment has left me feeling light-headed

This action for me is on the same level of being cruel as stabing the Thorn Princess
