I think the biggest unanswered question in Vrains is what the hell happened behind the scenes of this show. Switching directors, plot points brought up and then dropped, characters changing on a dime, some characters losing horribly with no redemption, others not even speaking, despite having speeches in the past. Soulburner and Blood Sheppard's duel being interupted, and then Blood Sheppard holding Emma at gun point, only for that to go nowhere. Playmaker and Revolver don't even duel past season 1, that is friggin unbelievable. Yusaku's 3 things characteristic completely vanished. It was just like wtf. All culminating in a way shorter Yugioh show. For a card game that makes billions and billions of dollars, its tv show should not have this much shit going on. P.S. I didn't even remember Yusaku had something called Link Sense.

@@ANTHONYACUNA1 besides being overdone, I just don't find the concept of a tournament all that interesting, most of the time it consist of main character/villain going against a throwaway character that isn't relevant to the plot and who will never appear again after that; you know who's going to win, you know in the finals is going to be MC vs main villain with a fight against the main rival somewhere along the way. It's lazy writing as the author can just fill the time with a random fight instead of progressing the story and characters in a meaningful way.
Would Yusaku and Aoi develop a genuine friendship? Besides being allies...I was disappointed over the lack of friendship moments and ship tease....we only get subtle implication that Aoi may have developed a crush on Yusaku...and Yusaku has a clear soft spot for her...I wanted to see more of those type of moments....so disappointed with that. I know it's not that type of series...but all potential pairings had that type of stuff....and with the way this ended...I hope series 7 is a continue of the series...or a cross over...I want more of these characters.

We see her in two episodes actually. But one of those two scenes was cut in the dub. The one scene where she appears (in sub and dub anime) is at the very end of S1 when Yugi goes to the hospital to get his grandpa back. She is seen just behind Sugoroku Muto (but doesn't talk).
I'm still upset how they pushed aside Queen and other higher ups of SOL. They were build up like final antagonists, but aside from Queen, the others never showed up in person.
@@dariohieras9186 Not really, they were scenes that showed Ai beginning to hate humans during S2, one in particular was when Revolver told Playmaker and Ai of the death of Earth. There was always the potential SOL Tech villain route until right up until the Lightning and Revolver duel, which basically killed off that plot route.
There a lot of unanswered questions like how would a Duel between Brave Max and Playmaker turned out and where in the freaking God is Topologina Nabee... Yeah I know bad, il let myself out
@@YugiohEverything yeah, in one of the very first episodes, we can see Decode Talker being 'printed out' thanks to the Data Storm or whatever. Since Ai is responsable for the Data Storm, he probably did the same for the whole Cyberse Deck.
While I can't answer these questions, I can say that this video looks like a much higher quality video (your videos were already high quality) it seemed to flow smother the visuals and the graphics looked good, I don't know what you did but good job this was a great video
My biggest question about the series is one I’ve had ever since episode 11. When Playmaker first summons Firewall, Dr. Kogami immediately recognises the card and makes a comment about recognising it. Definitely makes me think something more plot related was in store for Firewall originally.
Then the actual firewall dragon was hate so much it was banned and decode talker replaced it as yusaku's ace. Or so I've heard/assumed. Though the actual card being hated is true.

Junko Enoshima lightning was the only bad ignis because he could not coexist with humans. making windy the same would have resulted into him playing a bigger role as villain in the season because both would have plotted everything. so windy would have no hate towards bohman in his duel vs soulburner (bohman vs soulburner) which was before the windy-reveal. maybe lightning would have accepted his inferiority if he would have known that another ignis was like that. who knows.
I think Yusaku's link sense might be his ability to sense spirits or be an esper, like in all the previous seasons. I also think that Spectre might also be able to sense spirits or smth, with the whole mother tree thing and crying when Earth got cut into ribbons
Wait, am I the only one who thought "Blood Shepherd" was Windy's partner? He has a plane based deck (wind/air), he and his mother were in a car accident where his mother fell into a coma and he lost an arm iirc. Revolver said that Windy caused an AI to go rogue to cause an car accident to kill off his partner, but it was never stated that the partner actually died (Windy might have just thought he killed him)
Uh... When they showed Windy's partner he was pretty young. The accident Blood Shepard was in was when he was an adult. Not to mention BS and GG are older than the Origins.
Your Number 8 question was answered in the same first or second episode. Playmaker questioned how he knew about Speed Duels when Ai brought it back. It’s later explained that Playmaker/Yusaku and Ai have a “Link Sense” which lets them be able to able an almost sixth sense when it comes to the data network. That’s why Yusaku could see Revolver flying around in VRAINS while still being in the real world
it feels like the original plot for the show was going to focus more on the lost incident and sol tech but they scrapped it during season 2 and focused on the ignis more
#11: Why didn't we get a manga? I'm enjoying OCG structs so far, but I am just surprised that we didn't even get a manga one-shot. Maybe later on as GX and 5ds got some later on when the characters got legacy support. I was initially expecting to be fearing the manga ending in a couple months now that the anime is done, but it never even got started.

The more I watch, the more I wonder. Just how much did they actually write for the story in details? Most likely, not as much as anyone actually wanted. Or even more likely, writing as they go.
My unanswered question is in Faust part of the arc. How did Naoki got Cyberse Wizard? Was Ai the one who gave it to him? And if so, why? I believe this would've been a great part of the arc.

There's a theory that states the car that hit windy's partner was the car blood shepherd was in. But it is just a theory and was never confirmed in the show

But the greatest mystery of Yugioh Vrains is : what was the threat that motivated Kogami to create the Ignis ? Because I'm 100% convinced that there was an actual threat, I'm pretty sure that Windy's partner wasn't planed to be killed. Same for Lightning version of Kogami fatal injury. How was Ai supposed to pardon Lightning ? And how could Lightning, along with the other ignis save the humanity after murdering his creator ?
space5 kogami thought that humanity could die in the future and that those ignis would be the only way to prevent that. actually funny how Ai came to the same decision
Vrains ending hopefully means we get movie. Have Chess Pieces do something. Maybe 5 Big Duels; Rook vs. Gore; Give Rook some solid Rock or Machine Deck. Guess Gadget could do. Bishop vs. Soulburner ; No idea what deck Bishop would use, though. Magician, maybe Endymion? Queen vs. Blue Maiden; We know Queen uses Allure Queen Deck, but would be fun to see what she can actually do, with lot support. Knight vs. Varis; Maybe have Knight use Buster Blader deck to give Varis difficulties, with his deck being Dragon Focused? King vs. AI & Yusaku Tag Team; Give King some really powerful deck, maybe a custom made for movie like Cubic were.

I doubt. Blood shepherd was way too old to be part of the 7 kids in the incident. He could actually be older than zaizen (or same age), and zaizen is like way older than aoi (who is of the same age as yusaku, soulburner and miyu) And after rewatching the videos, the cars they were in are different. Windy’s one was kinda black while blood shepherd was clear yellow
How great would it be if they make Nabee and it just goes to prove, it would have caused Ai to lose against Pandora? Really hope that at some point a Vrains 2 gets released cuz come on. It really is not a bad series despite the director changes.
I though Bohman acquired Earth through absorbing the piece of Earth's code that was associated with the Crystal Heart card when he beat Aoi and absorbed aqua and crystal heart as a result.
What are the origins of the Data Storms? Why do monsters live in them? How was Ai able to make a link 6 without using as much data as Bohman? Who caused Blood Shephard's accident? Why were there monsters active in Link Vrains at the end of the show? Are Revolver and Hanoi still on the run from the law? Why did Yusaku not have a newer duel disk? What happened to the workers and projects at SOL after Ai acquired them? What was the real reason behind duelists not having access to other summoning methods? What about the lost incident resulted in the Ignis being created? What was Ai planning by sending the Cyberse magician data and instructing Roboppi?
The Kings are the most important part for me. The TRUE leader, so the middle one, of SOL should defeat playmaker in a honest duel. Also, the windy lost child could have survived, and being a new villian who also defeats playmaker in a honest duel for tension & a seroius aspect, and two strong villians who are succesfull.
I've got some other ones (no particular order) 1# what was the point in Shimas character? 2# why did they make the gouki deck? It's a headache causing deck because you hear Gouki every 5 seconds 3# what happened to the unknown Knights of Hanoi at the end? 4# what was the fait of Miyu (bare in mind I'm only on episode 76 so if that's been answered ignore this one) 5# what would of happened if Soulburner had finished off Revolver in their first duel? 6# who would of won between Bloodsheppard and Soulburner if Ghost girl didn't cut in 7# was Windy connected to Bloodsheppards accident? 8# will Yu-Gi-Oh 7 be a sequel to Vrains like gx was to MRD and 5DS to GX 9# who'd win if Revolver and Playmaker faced off a 5th time? 10# what if Revolver had managed to get a ritual and even pendulum forms ofhis borreload dragon would they of been the key to finally beating Playmaker?
Seems pretty clear that season 1 is where most of these issues arise from and the change in show runners or whatever happened is the likely reason forbit
Maybe Yusaku got his link sense from Ai....Remember how Jin was more traumatized than anyone else because of lightning, well what's to say Ai didn't influence Yusaku to be the only one to have his link sense, like how he influenced him to go back to dueling and find the Cyberse deck

For my opinion, since there are literally so many unanswered questions + open ending (including mysteries of chess pieces, main characters parents and maybe time travelling for crossovers too), there's a chance that Yugioh Vrains II will happen soon (sort of like Zexal II) to resolve all the questions
I always wondered if the accident that Blood Shepard had was because of Windy's action, remember that he was involved into a driving accident and because of that I think that Windy just disabled the I.A. of all vehicles in one part of the town, leading to the accident of his partner and thus Blood Shepard, who was just collateral damage, they never specified when Windy made his move so it would be hard to say that was several years before the Ignis War, and I don't know if the creators did that un purpose for something later or they just didn't reilase that there was this weird connection between both incidents being car crashing related with I.A. malfunctions
I have a theory that windy’s partner is actually blood shepherd because he scene when windy killed his partner looks identical to the scene where blood shepherd got into the accident And I found it convenient the the driving AI stopped working right before the accident I know that blood shepherd is too old but it’s possible that he was the first one and he was a failed experienc or something I’m not that good at theories but it’s fun to think about

There also that birds in the first opening and first episode Yusaku was green Ryoken red Aoi blue and Go Yellow it like after the first episode they scrapped that plot point immediately. And originally the show was Yusaku being a beginner at dueling who was very smart but they change it seemly late into him being Yugioh Batman and they dropped the Charisma duelist thing early on too despite making a big deal out of it.

I don't know if this makes sense but, I think windy's partner is blood shepherd since the accident is aligned with an AI and Blood shepherd didn't trust AI since then because of the accident. My another guess is the one that caused blood shepherd's accident. Remember the story, blood shepherd's ai car, had an error because of an accident, just way ahead of the road, and caused the malfunction, so what if the first accident is the real windy's partner. Just my guess.
My fantheory/headcannon is that they were working up to the reveal that Hiyumi was as the spy but also that she was the lost incident Wind Ignis Duelist. She survived her supposed "death" and hated AIs for that reason and secretly joined the hanoi, as the spy. It makes sense considering the main villains of the show were either Lightning acting out of self preservation or SOL tech for their shady business practices so you could reason that she was working as an anti-hero and putting up a front. Maybe she could even use something like a wind archtype - maybe something like reptiles? Day 198 of waiting for new Venom support.
I 100% guarentee Bowman got Earth from lightning when he defeated Specter, Think about it, after lightning defeated him, he told jin even the weak have their uses, He must have made a new Earth substitute for Bowman out of Spectres data, afterall he was Earths origin.
On the topic of Topologina Nabee; my take on this matter is that Ai made it up in an weak attempt to frazzle Pandor, the same way he said 6 + 1 = 8 during Playmaker's Synchro Summon during their duel.
the topologic nabee thing i can't get over LMAO it's so funny but the link sense is my biggest unanswered question tbh besides ai's fate. i can't help but wonder if it had something to do with how different his experience in the lost incident was due to ryoken's encouragement, bc it's also said that ai is the first ignis to develop instinct, for example. it's kinda hinted that yusaku's been able to sense the network since the lost incident, so i feel like it's gotta be related, but i guess we'll never know for sure :/
The ending is not actually that open ended. Everyone says Playmaker has not been around for 3 months and only after that do we see him. In short, he’s not been in Vrains until the point. He was offline.
Well when ai die against bohman and his backup kickoff it did say that he didnt know if it woud work so maybe it did go off but it wasnt an exact copy of ai so that woud explain the going evil thing or why he grew resentment against humans at that point and the original ai was the “huh”

Shame we didn't see Revolver take on Queen, or at the very, a small clip shown of his Borrel and Topologic's eradicating the three chest pieces. That when a sudden twist was that they were the ones who provided the Bit and Boot (or just BitBoot) characters for Lightning's army. Ok guys this is going to sound crazy but it makes perfect sense. This is my explanation of Yusaku’s link sense and possibly why he was chosen to be in the incident. Yusaku’s parents created the Vrains, and Yusaku because of it is part AI because of it a C.A.I.borg (I can pun too Ai) if you will. Which can give him a connection to know what’s going on in the Vrains, because he technically is part of it himself. As for why the others were recruited, I think it stems that they were test subjects in a previous experiment in Sol tech to try and make Ai with free will based off the personality’s of certain people but it went aria. So Dr. Kogami secretly took over and gathered the most promising test subjects and continued with it vigorously.
My top 10 questions that where unanswered 10] Was Hayami the Spy from Hanoi? 9] What happened to Queen? 8] What happened to the Duel Club? 7] What happened to Bohman 6]How can Kusanagi afford to fit hacking tech and tubes in his Hot Dog Truck? 5] What the hell is Link sense? 4] What happened to the cues pieces? 3] How where the victims chosen and there parents reactions to all this? 2] Was the third season events how it was supposed to happen for that season? 1] Was Yusaku an orphan?
My guess is that once Queen was gone, those chess pieces were gone too. Edit: Kinda upset Topologina Nabee didn't make the top 10, but I am glad ya did mention it. I really hope that we get the Topologina archetype in the real game, so we can play a semi-pure Topologic/Topologina deck. I'd like to see how that plays out, seeing how Trisbaena, Bomber, Gumblar, and Zerovoros work by attacking different areas.
So many things they could have done. Pandor seemed to be built up for something too. Can limited free will actually be free will? Is an interesting concept and I honestly thought her interaction with AI and the way he treated her like a person, not a program, as well as his interests on her kind of hinted at her being more important. I honestly thought she would join Ai and Robopi.

@@YugiohEverything yeah, in one of the very first episodes, we can see Decode Talker being 'printed out' thanks to the Data Storm or whatever. Since Ai is responsable for the Data Storm, he probably did the same for the whole Cyberse Deck.
I wish Soul Burner and Blood Shepard would've had another duel.
Blood Shepherd should've been used more and a second duel with Soulburner to finish what they started would've been a great idea.

My biggest question about the series is one I’ve had ever since episode 11. When Playmaker first summons Firewall, Dr. Kogami immediately recognises the card and makes a comment about recognising it. Definitely makes me think something more plot related was in store for Firewall originally.
Then the actual firewall dragon was hate so much it was banned and decode talker replaced it as yusaku's ace. Or so I've heard/assumed. Though the actual card being hated is true.

Probably a chill and upbeat ignis, but Lighting unfortunately tainted him. He was the saddest character in my opinion.

Junko Enoshima lightning was the only bad ignis because he could not coexist with humans. making windy the same would have resulted into him playing a bigger role as villain in the season because both would have plotted everything. so windy would have no hate towards bohman in his duel vs soulburner (bohman vs soulburner) which was before the windy-reveal.
maybe lightning would have accepted his inferiority if he would have known that another ignis was like that. who knows.

He has a plane based deck (wind/air), he and his mother were in a car accident where his mother fell into a coma and he lost an arm iirc.
Revolver said that Windy caused an AI to go rogue to cause an car accident to kill off his partner, but it was never stated that the partner actually died (Windy might have just thought he killed him)
Uh... When they showed Windy's partner he was pretty young. The accident Blood Shepard was in was when he was an adult. Not to mention BS and GG are older than the Origins.
Your Number 8 question was answered in the same first or second episode. Playmaker questioned how he knew about Speed Duels when Ai brought it back.
It’s later explained that Playmaker/Yusaku and Ai have a “Link Sense” which lets them be able to able an almost sixth sense when it comes to the data network.
That’s why Yusaku could see Revolver flying around in VRAINS while still being in the real world
I think they initially planned for Yusaku to actually be an AI too, that’s where his link sense comes from.
it feels like the original plot for the show was going to focus more on the lost incident and sol tech but they scrapped it during season 2 and focused on the ignis more

I'm enjoying OCG structs so far, but I am just surprised that we didn't even get a manga one-shot. Maybe later on as GX and 5ds got some later on when the characters got legacy support. I was initially expecting to be fearing the manga ending in a couple months now that the anime is done, but it never even got started.

Hattan AlShutaifi my disappointments involve how Playmaker’s monsters were executed. Mainly Firewall Dragon and the Code Talkers
TheJaredPunch yeah but biggest disappointment of that is firewall dragon fewest appearance and used despite despite this monster being Yusaku's ace monster it has only appeared in three episodes of Vrains season 1 and two episodes in season 2 and not at all since episode 82, which was aired in December 2018 when this card was declared Forbidden in the OCG/TCG not helped the fact he only ace monster that doesn’t used in final battle and duel and only protagonist ace monster to ever been in banlist

@@kamenfan3800 Yes it was. Blood Shepard was Windy's partner. But because Lightning corrupted Windy, Windy went off the deep end saying how "he does need a partner" and tried to kill Blood Shepard.
@@AJ-hu4ig no he wasn't. The silhouette look nothing like him and in the flash back of lightning the car hit his partner while blood shepherd was inside a car in his accident. There's a theory that states the car that hit windy's partner was the car blood shepherd was in. But it is just a theory and was never confirmed in the show

@@YugiohEverything that was right before blood shepherd vs lightning. It's stated by blood shepherd that "even if the ignis are destroyed a new one will be created". He also says dialogue questioning what Akira will do when the time comes.
I'll also note that the screens in some scenes showing Go Onizuka's duel chip status it reads 'R-IGN-00'. Make of that what you will.

But the greatest mystery of Yugioh Vrains is : what was the threat that motivated Kogami to create the Ignis ? Because I'm 100% convinced that there was an actual threat, I'm pretty sure that Windy's partner wasn't planed to be killed. Same for Lightning version of Kogami fatal injury. How was Ai supposed to pardon Lightning ? And how could Lightning, along with the other ignis save the humanity after murdering his creator ?

Vrains ending hopefully means we get movie. Have Chess Pieces do something. Maybe 5 Big Duels;
Rook vs. Gore; Give Rook some solid Rock or Machine Deck. Guess Gadget could do.
Bishop vs. Soulburner ; No idea what deck Bishop would use, though. Magician, maybe Endymion?
Queen vs. Blue Maiden; We know Queen uses Allure Queen Deck, but would be fun to see what she can actually do, with lot support.
Knight vs. Varis; Maybe have Knight use Buster Blader deck to give Varis difficulties, with his deck being Dragon Focused?
King vs. AI & Yusaku Tag Team; Give King some really powerful deck, maybe a custom made for movie like Cubic were.
Zaizen Akira mentioned to his assistant Hayami that those Kings are the board of directors of SOLTechnology

I doubt. Blood shepherd was way too old to be part of the 7 kids in the incident. He could actually be older than zaizen (or same age), and zaizen is like way older than aoi (who is of the same age as yusaku, soulburner and miyu)
And after rewatching the videos, the cars they were in are different. Windy’s one was kinda black while blood shepherd was clear yellow

The Kings are the most important part for me. The TRUE leader, so the middle one, of SOL should defeat playmaker in a honest duel. Also, the windy lost child could have survived, and being a new villian who also defeats playmaker in a honest duel for tension & a seroius aspect, and two strong villians who are succesfull.
I wonder if we'll get a VRAINS sequel...

What about Revolver vs Soul Burner????? Where soul burner wins through an illegal play of having Heatleo TARGET a Borreload Dragon which supposedly can not be targeted by monster effects.
For my opinion, since there are literally so many unanswered questions + open ending (including mysteries of chess pieces, main characters parents and maybe time travelling for crossovers too), there's a chance that Yugioh Vrains II will happen soon (sort of like Zexal II) to resolve all the questions
I always wondered if the accident that Blood Shepard had was because of Windy's action, remember that he was involved into a driving accident and because of that I think that Windy just disabled the I.A. of all vehicles in one part of the town, leading to the accident of his partner and thus Blood Shepard, who was just collateral damage, they never specified when Windy made his move so it would be hard to say that was several years before the Ignis War, and I don't know if the creators did that un purpose for something later or they just didn't reilase that there was this weird connection between both incidents being car crashing related with I.A. malfunctions
I never noticed it at first, but VRAINS never had a tournament arc ........it would have been nice to see them have one.

to only unanswered question is what was Firewall Dragon original purpose as Doctor Kogami was surprised when Playmaker summoned it for the first time in his second duel against Revolver
There also that birds in the first opening and first episode Yusaku was green Ryoken red Aoi blue and Go Yellow it like after the first episode they scrapped that plot point immediately. And originally the show was Yusaku being a beginner at dueling who was very smart but they change it seemly late into him being Yugioh Batman and they dropped the Charisma duelist thing early on too despite making a big deal out of it.

I don't know if this makes sense but, I think windy's partner is blood shepherd since the accident is aligned with an AI and Blood shepherd didn't trust AI since then because of the accident.
My another guess is the one that caused blood shepherd's accident. Remember the story, blood shepherd's ai car, had an error because of an accident, just way ahead of the road, and caused the malfunction, so what if the first accident is the real windy's partner. Just my guess.

My fantheory/headcannon is that they were working up to the reveal that Hiyumi was as the spy but also that she was the lost incident Wind Ignis Duelist. She survived her supposed "death" and hated AIs for that reason and secretly joined the hanoi, as the spy. It makes sense considering the main villains of the show were either Lightning acting out of self preservation or SOL tech for their shady business practices so you could reason that she was working as an anti-hero and putting up a front.
Maybe she could even use something like a wind archtype - maybe something like reptiles?

I 100% guarentee Bowman got Earth from lightning when he defeated Specter, Think about it, after lightning defeated him, he told jin even the weak have their uses, He must have made a new Earth substitute for Bowman out of Spectres data, afterall he was Earths origin.
On the topic of Topologina Nabee; my take on this matter is that Ai made it up in an weak attempt to frazzle Pandor, the same way he said 6 + 1 = 8 during Playmaker's Synchro Summon during their duel.

but the link sense is my biggest unanswered question tbh besides ai's fate. i can't help but wonder if it had something to do with how different his experience in the lost incident was due to ryoken's encouragement, bc it's also said that ai is the first ignis to develop instinct, for example. it's kinda hinted that yusaku's been able to sense the network since the lost incident, so i feel like it's gotta be related, but i guess we'll never know for sure :/
The ending is not actually that open ended. Everyone says Playmaker has not been around for 3 months and only after that do we see him. In short, he’s not been in Vrains until the point. He was offline.

Well when ai die against bohman and his backup kickoff it did say that he didnt know if it woud work so maybe it did go off but it wasnt an exact copy of ai so that woud explain the going evil thing or why he grew resentment against humans at that point and the original ai was the “huh”

Shame we didn't see Revolver take on Queen, or at the very, a small clip shown of his Borrel and Topologic's eradicating the three chest pieces.
That when a sudden twist was that they were the ones who provided the Bit and Boot (or just BitBoot) characters for Lightning's army. In exchange for the three to rule the human world (or to acquire something else)
Ok guys this is going to sound crazy but it makes perfect sense. This is my explanation of Yusaku’s link sense and possibly why he was chosen to be in the incident. Yusaku’s parents created the Vrains, and Yusaku because of it is part AI because of it a C.A.I.borg (I can pun too Ai) if you will. Which can give him a connection to know what’s going on in the Vrains, because he technically is part of it himself. As for why the others were recruited, I think it stems that they were test subjects in a previous experiment in Sol tech to try and make Ai with free will based off the personality’s of certain people but it went aria. So Dr. Kogami secretly took over and gathered the most promising test subjects and continued with it vigorously.

Edit: Kinda upset Topologina Nabee didn't make the top 10, but I am glad ya did mention it. I really hope that we get the Topologina archetype in the real game, so we can play a semi-pure Topologic/Topologina deck. I'd like to see how that plays out, seeing how Trisbaena, Bomber, Gumblar, and Zerovoros work by attacking different areas.
So many things they could have done. Pandor seemed to be built up for something too. Can limited free will actually be free will? Is an interesting concept and I honestly thought her interaction with AI and the way he treated her like a person, not a program, as well as his interests on her kind of hinted at her being more important. I honestly thought she would join Ai and Robopi.
It would have been so nice to see Queen's Allura Queen Deck in action.
