I agree on one level. But the clock is running out on both Lebron and Curry. This may be their final championship window. Lakers and Warriors have a shot against anyone in a 7-game series. For them not to make the playoffs would be a failure. For Curry, it'll end tonight.

Shanon and SAS look stupid here. Windy is spot on. All he’s saying is the Lakers and the Warriors both had good seasons but the top of the west is so good that they’re in the play in. It’s really simple
I agreed with Windy here. The teams are getting better. The talent has improved. More 6'9"+ players have a 3-pt shot, year over year. The way that Steph, Dame Lillard, and maybe even Trae Young have stretched the floor, it has changed how players train as well as how teams scout and draft.
Yeah better on offense but defense is trash.
@irgelreal - yeah I hear ya... though I'd attribute the trash defense more to how (more ticky-tack) fouls are called and how NBA commish and other front-office folks want there to be more points scored, whether for more ratings or less injuries or something of the like.

It's rare that they go after Windy. He's always so calm and reasonable. His take that the Lakers season would be a success is absurd. With Lebron and AD + the legacy of that franchise, any season that isn't a championship is a failure.
As far as the Warriors, Klay Thompson isn't Klay Thompson anymore and Dray has lost his mind. It's Steph and some fairly promising young players. Their window has already closed.
All in the West: Lebron, Steph, Kawhi, Durant, Jokic, Kyrie, Wymbey, Luka, AD, Booker, Harden, SGA, Edwards, Murry, Zion in the West. The East is easy. That’s why Boston is #1 and Knicks is #2. The West has the best players and overall teams.
