Tenkara bass fishing

A warm night out on the pond after work with only tenkara and fly rod. Sometimes it isn't about the size of the fish that you catch but the experience of using something different than the norm, and slowing down to enjoy just being out.

I could "feel" the evening through the screen... starting off in lighter clothes.... sun dips behind the mountain, heavier layer of hoodies comes out.... nothing like summer evenings in Maine!

Thank you for commenting. Yeah, the temps drop fast some nights. I have to say that summer evenings in Maine are really wonderful. Combine it with fishing of any kind just makes it that much better.
