Platform works great for remote guests but using riverside for in-person guests and doing video just isn't there yet. We keep having problems with mic bleed even after buying new dynamic mics and putting each other at opposite ends of the room. Riverside is a 5-star platform; I absolutely love it. But it's taking me 2-3 hours to edit in-person recordings to remove the mic bleed. There's got to be a way to support 1 computer and a vocaster two or something like that and still have two - three cameras.
@@Riversidefm I should have been more clear. If you look at time stamp 0:25 you and your guest are both not wearing headphones. I can see that he has some sort of wired ear bud. Wondering what you guys use because I hate headphones
Are you guys planning to do the XML export of the edited clips with Ai? be that full episodes or magic clips. I'd love a chance to remove pauses and filler words, but then still send it to premier for some specific tune up
I still can't understand why you can't delete words In separate tracks and still keep the other tracks audio/video which disappears because deleting affects both tracks. Sure you can mute It, but then you see someone talking on video muted + It takes A LOT more time. It would have been 10x faster If delete words would not affect the other track. Sure automute Is key but this has nothing to do with that. I'm talking about the layout when the one who Is speaking Is In full screen, not when split screen. Also, the AI does not detect double words. Sometimes u repeat a sentence, word but the text won't show It. Thanks for the video btw
In addition to mic bleed Riverside’s video quality just isn’t up to par at 24 FPS. Unless interpolated frames are added (which isn’t ideal) with a high quality video editing software, the frame rate isn’t high enough for smooth video. This also adds extra steps and considerable time. The features and interface are great, but Riverside’s recording quality leaves a lot to be desired. Unless of course you pay thousands every month for a “business” account. Come on Riverside add 30FPS on paid pro plans!!! In the mean time myself and other colleagues have switched to other platforms like ZenCastr that offer much higher recording quality on all paid tires. I’m not sure why Riverside disables 30 FPS when the entire world has standardized on it.
We hear you on the 30 vs 24 FPS, but video quality has many other factors in addition to frame rate, like compression, bitrate, sync, etc. Will share this with the team though.
30FPS is the standard in the U.S. and most of UA-cam. There is a clear difference in smoothness between Riverside video podcasts and other platforms. How is it possible that most of the other video podcast platforms offer 30FPS recording quality but Riverside can’t without spending thousands of dollars with Riverside Enterprise? This is a clear downgrade for paid Pro users. Sorry but the lack of 30FPS video recording quality with Riverside makes absolutely no sense to creators. You really need to fix this huge gap in your feature set.
AI will ruin UA-cam for human creators. The venue will bill full of AI spam video. This crap is not a tool .. it's a replacement for human creativity. Makes me glad to be old and won't be around long enough to see everything go to sh*t.
@@Riversidefm Yeah -- I watched the video. The tools seem helpful for sure. We'll see how all the AI stuff shakes out in the future. I just hope AI generated content doesn't clutter UA-cam. Thanks for the note. Cheers.
Great video!
Appreciate it!
Realmente es increíble usar la plataforma !! ✌
¡Gracias!
Hi Stephen, another great video, when are we getting the rolling ticker in Riverside?
Thanks! And we hear you, and others who want a feature like that. Will share again with the team!

Another great video! I noticed you're not wearing headphones - we're you wearing ear buds and is so what brand? Thank you ...
Hey Michael! I don’t wear headphones when filming solo content.

Stay tuned...more on this very soon 😉
Have you done any videos combining the Rodecaster Video with Riverside?
Not yet, trying to get our hands on one for a tutorial!
Does the AI tool have a way to pull an engaging highlight clip(s) and turn it into a teaser for a podcast lead in/introduction?
Absolutely! That’s what Magic clips are perfect for: ua-cam.com/video/WzUXi2Ig80o/v-deo.htmlsi=nGnl89dNvkvu7aH7

We're not talking about AI-generated content, but rather using AI tools to edit human-made content quickly and repurpose in multiple ways!
