@@x52wolf12 Don't get me wrong, BO3's map design was great. It's just that the advanced movement hindered the power positions on most maps. Look at Outlaw (the remake of Standoff). The second floors of the houses were a sniper's dream in BO2, but with advanced movement, those no longer existed.

OMG watching this makes me miss bo2 so much! I think the maps were a huge factor in making the game my favorite cod! There were maps I preferred over others but I really enjoyed all of the maps.
When I see a early version of the Original Nuketown, I can die happily. (also, if possible, a early version of BO3's Nuketown because I remember back in a day they releasing a concept picture of the map that was way different from the actual map we got)

i hated meltdown. i feel like 80% of my deaths were from crawling through those vents, or by someone crawling through those vents. i also hated that weird round room at the top with the little ladders, and the giant explosive tanks in the middle of the map. My only good memories of that map were being a little shit with the shock charges and bouncing betties near the middle where the single ladder is next to the 2 small rooms.

the “night club” map is ripped straight from a level from the campaign. so it seems that they used some assets from it but this map as it is is from a campaign level
They could have a DLC pack named "Alpha" where its the maps made in Alpha version, and it would literally be a totally different map... and better than some map packs overall.

One of the biggest things I liked in BO2 is a lot of the maps weren’t in some very specific obscure location like in BO4 they felt real and lived in. One other factor for me is the specialists seeing two crashes and both of them being on opposite teams really can break immersion that’s how it is for me; repetition can break my immersion. On of my favorite maps if not my favorite map in BO2 was the DLC map Frost
