Now that you say it, I see the Phillipines influence. The shape is also not dissimilar to a very early seax, which often had curved plow handle type hilts, and had not yet developed the extreme broken back type blade.
Very cool blade, definitely on my short list.
A guy in Kongsberg Norway killed 5 people with that knife, so it works for sure

Too bad they want like $325 for it... Kinda crazy price if you ask me. Maybe the US hates Italy? Heavy tariffs?

I look forward to owning this piece, but I am not happy about its current choice of blade steel/price. In fact I would be willing to pay quite a bit more for it if only in something like CRUWEAR! I am seriously just not a fan of 12C27.
