I can't wait to see this in the fall! Also can't wait for the epic universe version in two years which will be the biggest version with three rides! Great video 😊
I love the food shown at the Toadstool Cafe. Looks very good! Also, no Bowser wristband? What are they thinking!? Great tour BTW. I love this park already!
It's definitely very small and compact. The only ride has a very long wait and Express Pass doesn't apply. Also heard the Toadstool Cafe is extremely expensive. However, when I walked through that tunnel with the Mario music playing and walked into the main area, truly an unforgettable experience. It didn't matter how crowded and loud it was; it felt like my childhood coming true. As a Mario fan, just being there surrounded by an actual Mario world was enough to make me happy lol. Hopefully though the one in Orlando is bigger and better.
@@GPXBrent Yes and no, because in Japan there are several floors and from the top you can see that they hid all the mechanics, but here in addition to being smaller which would be ok due to the land they had, the architects were simply sloppy leaving all the mechanics exposed
After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.
so do the kids get to climb up the wall and jump from cloud to cloud? Make a real version where you got a couple levels to finish. Easy enough to hook up fall gear on them!
I know it's a small land but newly built-up theme park place with only one ride... Hoping that AR Glass with 3D effects lasts well. Wish that USH could've bring real rides instead of screen effects.
Some of you may say it’s small Yep it’s true though unfortunately this is bc of limited space they have here in California but this is only a preview of the other one at epic universal in Orlando then again you can’t deny the amazing design of this place which they say it’s something that Star Wars land should have been. Hopefully one day I’ll visit the place when I get the chance then again I’m waiting more on epic universal.
Small company here in Florida was hired to make the giant Bowser and I have worked in fiberglass over 14 years and these bonehead techs were oblivious to any questions I asked about materials they used. There is no structural support laminated in the parts they cut corners and after spraying gelcoat by only using a chopper gun to spray fiberglass with no core matting or even sheet mesh glass. First good storm or heavy wind will crack these parts causing them to eventually fail and fall off hurting someone below. Will update this post after I locate the paperwork from the Florida company to list here as I did work there a short while, and after feeling overwhelmed with lack of knowledge from any of the crew I worked with I decided to venture to other areas of fiberglass work. If anyone working at this park reads this I would have the components examined by a certified fiberglass tech before installing to verify this post before an accident occurs hurting people or children.
They have different structure with Japan. seems smaller than Japan one. Honestly pretty disappointed and prefer to Japan version but still better than nothing.
Extremely underwhelming. Nintendo is strong enough of a brand to have its own park. A Mario land, a Zelda land, a Metroid land, etc. They dropped the ball huge with this.
Universal Hollywood is locked into the real estate is currently occupies. It is landlocked by the LA River, the 101 freeway, and a residential area. Unfortunately, this means that they are very limited as to what they do with the space. This becomes apparent when you look at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter there vs. compared to the one in Florida. The 15-second-long Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster in Hollywood is a joke. To me, the Super Nintendo World Tour is a complete waste of space that would have been much better utilized in expanding an existing attraction.
It's small, yet also seems to be slightly more spacious than Japan's, probably because of the lack of multiple levels.
More open space then Japan
This place looks so awesome! Thanks for the tour, and I love the soundtrack, really catchy!
It looks so tiny and compact. No wonder they're gonna need a virtual queue to enter the land cause they have to 😅
To be fair, there isn’t a lot of room at USH for a theme park, since unlike with the other instalments, it’s a movie studio that has a park jammed in.
it's landlocked
@@knightofarkronia8652 where is this anyway? did they cut out some of the backlot? Cause like you said, USH is small as hell.
@@thecunninlynguist They just tore down some old sound stages i think
It does look smaller than Japan, I hope Orlando ends up more like Japan than Hollywood
Even though the super Nintendo world is small it still looks incredible man can't wait for the one to open at epic universe in Florida 😊👍
Looks very well themed and kinetic.
I can't wait to see this in the fall! Also can't wait for the epic universe version in two years which will be the biggest version with three rides! Great video 😊

Very tiny but pretty cool. Food's looking interesting to say the least, Mustache burgers, gotta love 'em.
Can't wait for the Florida one being built to be open one day!
Me too man especially since I heard that the super Nintendo world at epic universe could be the biggest and best version of them all! 😊👍
2025, here we come!
THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
My 4 year old loves this video especially when she hears that tune!😂 well done guys!
so unreal!🥹🤩
Just imagine a HHN here with a Luigi's Mansion house. That'd be pretty epic.
OMG 🥲 I cannot wait!!! 🙌🏼😁

Beautiful video 👍😊
IT'S SO COOL!!!!!!!!!
This looks very cool. Also what is the name of the background music please?
Shame that you can still see the big buildings peeking above the lands walls, does break the immersion a bit
True, same with the way you can see the mechanical parts when looking at the land from the ice area. Rest of it is beautiful though
@@GPXBrent Yes and no, because in Japan there are several floors and from the top you can see that they hid all the mechanics, but here in addition to being smaller which would be ok due to the land they had, the architects were simply sloppy leaving all the mechanics exposed
Makes you wish you can just take a pair of shears and trim some off the top.
Can’t wait to go to this place

I wanna go there so badly

Let’s go ❤❤
Wow I can’t wait to go there congratulations 🎉
very nice, i can already see the mouse quaking in fear
What a new Universal Super Nintendo World Land Universal Studios Hollywood Park
What is the theme song called in this video.
Has this opened yet?? How’d you get to see it?!
It officially opens on February 17. This was a technical rehearsal in which the land was temporarily open to guests.
They did a "very soft opening" for a small group of Annual Passholders and media outlets.
Is this a roller coaster or any drops ?
so hyped to go...the mario kart ride looks awesome....after the mario movie is released, this place gonna be BUSY
Is it just me? Or is this pretty scaled back from the usj version?
It's a smaller footprint because the park itself is small. The florida version is going to be much bigger.
One band is 40 bucks!?
Cool

looks like a cheaper copy of japan. I mean you even showed in the video, that you can see the technic of some animatronics from certain points
I like it 😊😊
That’s awsome!!?

Nice very good
Looks like a Nintendo themed mall
I’m sure Dashie is gonna like this

Awesome!
Parece ser menor que a área no Japão 🤔
I don't know how I feel about this. It looks cool but so cheap at the same time.
It’s beyond small…it’s claustrophobic! It’s themed really nice…you need more, because this land will be less appealing to the guests as tine goes on.
Well maybe look at it as one big interactive ride instead then that makes more sense. I'd rather that than be touching elbows and not enjoy it anyways
Too small, too crowded, not enough rides…..I’ll wait for Epic Universe.
Nintendo needs its own park with Zelda and super Mario and Metroid sections...
They have different structure with Japan. seems smaller than Japan one. Honestly pretty disappointed and prefer to Japan version but still better than nothing.

am i the only one who's really bothered by that crane in the back like plzz
that's just New Donk City in the background
It looks almost the same with the one in USJ Osaka but with 'slimmer' people and we all have our masks on
Extremely underwhelming. Nintendo is strong enough of a brand to have its own park. A Mario land, a Zelda land, a Metroid land, etc. They dropped the ball huge with this.
How tf does this not look incredible to you
Looks lame
Japan is big nice colorful and grand, this ones compact and ugly

Someone hand me a 🎟 ! Sorry murucan one looks cheap, I off to Japan!
It's in Hollywood, but I'm guessing the Asians gets first dibs huh? Shocker...
