Sailing The Normandy Coast Of France - SV Tapatya S2EP8

Sailing vessel Tapatya. We head further down the French side of the English Channel to the beautiful harbour town of St-Vaast-la-Hougue, where we delight in the village and the nearby island.
This is the story of SV Tapatya, a self-built, Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of our adventures as I live aboard, sail and strive to find out just what such a self-built, low-budget vessel is capable of.

Clipping on during a night watch simply makes sense. It also allows the off-watch crew to sleep a bit more soundly. Good seamanship. I'm so glad to see that Normandy is treating you well. I think you may need to spray some lanolin on the rub points, Tapatya sounds like she has a hold full of chickens and goats, those squaks and grunts would keep me awake!
