Looks like the fertle waters of Brest did a number on that open 60! Nobody paid to have the bottom scraped ! That's going to be so hard later on! Cheers warren
Nice cruising, thanks for taking us along, and I'm still subscribed! In all my years on UA-cam I've never been unsubscribed from a channel, my problem is having my politics-related comments deleted. Some moderator, or some AI algorithm, is extremely sensitive to any criticism of a certain politician!
Enjoying the life of sailing…I have YT Premium and never had a kick out..neither on the app nor on the direct URL. Hazel is a joy to have on Tapatya..She seems to master the galley pretty good.. Indeed the rudder bushings squeak a bit and this might wear out or try some graphite grease.. Tapatya seems to sail very smooth and holding her heel.. Thanks for sharing Tony..
Thanks Frans. Yes, I dare say YT Premium is a good option - no ads and creators get a little bit from the membership. Not my place to promote YT though 🤔 Yes, I was very pleased with the windward performance and she is really steady once heeled 😃😃
Hi Tony and Hazel, yes, I am still subscribed, although for some reason, your new videos are always about half way down my "suggestions" - needless to say, I scroll to them really quickly as I only have a few other subscriptions. But for some reason, neither of your channels feature at the top of the list, although I watch them meticulously. Perhaps the algorithm knows that, and is trying to maintain my interest with other, less-engaging content on my YT home page. Who knows? Anyway, thanks for another great video and Brest looked amazing. Your upwind sail looked great, too. All my best as you head out into Biscay. Take care. Best wishes, Chris
Thank you Chris. Yes, I forget who it was, but as a very clever chap in a TED talk said, we are writing things (algorithms) that we can’t understand anymore. Black box processing - we put in an input and an output comes out, which then determines an aspect of our lives. Strange times 🤔
Thank you Mack. Well, yes! I plan to sail this boat for as long as I am able and have no intention of returning to Germany with her. If all goes well, we’ll certainly be further afield in the future 👍😃
You're right about moving to dockside. Once, moored to a govt-supplied mooring buoy, it got windy and rough during the night and we ended up on the beach, but managed to power off the grounding and finding a better place. Are you going to venture past the orcas outside the Med entrance?
Sounds like an adrenaline rush, Stew! We were intending to hop our way down the Portuguese coast past the orcas, but the Dutch canals and the beauty of France have inspired us to go through the canals to the Med 😃😎
In the best possible taste, you could increase your viewership 1000% by making sure your lovely daughter is in most of the footage - very easy on the eyes!
The shots of Tapatya under sail from Paragon were terrific! Must have been really enjoyable for her builder. Thanks for sharing.
It was, Trent! Thank you 😃😃
Thanks so much for the tour!
Thank you Nena 😃😃
Another wonderful video you will have to learn to make bread when Hazel sails her own boat 😊
Thanks Kevin. No worries - she hasn’t got an oven on her boat. She’ll have to come here to make bread 😂😂
Thanks again for the beautiful sail.
Thank you Wade 😃
You guys are awesome and your channels are awesome! Be safe!
Thank you 😃😃☺️
Another lovely video. I’m so happy for you two.
Thanks Dan. It’s been a long road to get here, but it’s good mate! 😃
I love your sailing! ✝️🙏❤️🇺🇸🇬🇧⛵️👣☘️😊
Thank you Melinda 😃😃
Looks like a lovely part of the world, keep pressing on its a tough job but somebody's got to do it.
It is, Tom. Thank you 😃😃

It was pretty foul, Warren!
I think you have the got just the right pace and a week in Brest is a useful ‘logistic period’.😉 Good decision on the induction hob unit.😀👍⛵️
Thanks Norman. Yes, it’s certainly important to me to get a feel for the places we are travelling to; not just some crazy hurtling around 😃😎
Lovely living ❤
It is, Wade 😃😃

I've followed the build from day one! Are there any future plans to sail further from your home base? Somewhere more exotic, Bahamas perhaps? 🤠🇺🇸
Thank you Mack.

So how rid the bread and buns turn out? Fun week exploring Brest.
Delicious, Roland 😃😃
