Ah nice! I'm going to check them out. I know next to nothing about bicycles. I have a Khoodabloom off the shelf cross bike I bought here which does the job but I'm keen to get something that I can fall in love with.. do you have any advice on finding something? Do I just start with a frame?
Maybe if you’re starting out, Wood Village in Tokyo would be a good choice. He fixes up mostly 90s mountain bikes which are perfect for riding around the city.

Hello, I lived in central Seoul with my family for three years, from 2012. I cycled a lot for fun and fitness but didn't really have a bike suitable for commuting, shopping or using as my primary made of transport, which I regret. I really enjoy seeing you visit the places, cross the bridges and cycle the paths that I was so familiar with. Thank you for making such engaging content, with a wonderful balance of genuine affection, honesty and humour.
Have you ever visited Espresso Core in Hannam-dong. It was one of my favorite cafes but I believe the owner has changed since I left, so possibly the baristas, roaster and therefore the coffee as well.
Please keep up with the regular uploads and insights into cycling around and enjoying all the aspects of my former home. Great work.

Thanks 👍🏻It’s a Lezyne light. I can’t remember the exact model but on of the stronger ones in their range.
You tend to ride through areas in Seoul that I am familiar with. Considering how big Seoul is and that I have never lived there, I find it somewhat amazing. Do you watch any Korean cycling channels. I did watch a fair bit of 민디, but it seem to develope more into her in lycra, than places she rode to.
That’s cool. I live pretty central so it’s likely that I go to where a lot of visitors will too. I haven’t watched many other Korean cycling UA-cam. I tend to watch more about places I haven’t been.

How did you go about replacing the Surly logo, is it a decal or did you respray? I love their bikes but their logo is a bit too metal for this dad biker.
Not sure how he did exactly but it is a decal. I would guess he used some heat to remove. Looks much cleaner and suits his style better.

I bought a Brompton for my wife. They’re great if you don’t have much space and also if you want to bring your bike on public transport. They ride quite nice but a full sized bike can’t be beaten.
