Those rough "buggy" types of nymphs have movement. They catch fish! A great tie.
I'll be knocking up a dozen of these on the weekend. Thanks for sharing, Davie 👍
Wonderful caddis emerged pattern, great for our limestone waters.
Love wee nymphs like that! Great to see the wee Sea Trout too Davie! 🎣😁👍🏻
Simply Fishey✌
Fantastic nymph definitely going to tye some of these up. Thank you Davie 😊
Great instructional tying video. The fly looks a successful pattern. Thanks, Davie.
"you did ask to see it". Had a wee chuckle🤙🙂🏴
Looks like a GRHE, which puts it in good company.
Looks a fish catcher to me in small sizes Davie… good movement and lifelike triggers…thanks for sharing
Genius! That’s my sort of pattern, basic structure and, er, ‘buggy’!😂😂😂 I’m going to try some in Olive, Brown and Cream to use up a few odds and ends of CDC.😊
A proper FISHING fly Thanks, Davie

Well Done as usual Davie!
I tying hare ear nymphs in that kind of stile. Works awesome. Fast and easy.
Nice fly, I caught a Perch on something similar.
Davie, you are the only person alive that can take these random scrap materials and turn them into a beautiful, very fishable fly. Amazing! It would sure be fun to hang out with you someday. Do you ever get out to Colorado?
😂🤣😂
Awesomely buggy davie tks 😊
Is the Olive mix just Uv with natural fox squirrel & Olive cdc.Looks fairy olive in colour.I imagine there is a lot of the Olive cdc in the mix.I have never managed to find good quality gold Tinsel. The mylar type i find the gold wears off the maylar fast when fishing the fly.Maybe just use gold wire for durability. A great looking fly Davie.Cheers
Great guide fly
Благодарю, Дэви! - Класс!👍🤝🇰🇿
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely little fly Davie. Can I ask what wax do you use?
Hi Graham,
I use Veniards Prepared Fly Tyers Wax, I mad e a video on it so I have attached a link for you to see...I'm glad you liked the fly, it's caught me many fish over the years..

All the very best Davie..
I did enjoy it, Davie... thank you.
Do you have other colors of this you find useful, or is it 'the one fly'?
Mike
I tried some dark grey ones with a dull grey/'gunmetal' bead, just before the brown trout season ended, and they proved to be very effective
Hi Davie,
What sort of lengths are you cutting the UV into to mix into the dubbing?
Thanks and ATB.
Hi Scott,
I cut it to about an inch to an inch and a half in length as I don't like it too short as it will not mix as easy...
All the very best Davie
👍
Davie, where did the inspiration come from? And don’t say your bellybutton😀. 👍🏴
The secret dubbing mix😎🤣...
Hey Davie, how do you keep your superglue? I never seem to be able to keep a bottle more than a few weeks before It glues itself shut.
Hi @HalfInsaneOutdoorguy,
I try and keep the lid closed as much as I can though I'll only get a few weeks out of it myself..I use the easy brush version which is easy to open and close the top without it sticking shut..
All the very best Davie
So nicee 🤌🤌
simple tie....even fish it wet fly style
Davie whit Rotary Vice Set up do you use mate, Cheers in Advance 😉👍🍻🥃
I think it's the FNF Talon vice he uses
