Great video Danny. Got my 595 Winter Run for xmas. Thank you so much! What a surprise. Amazing piece!! Fish on! from here in West Virginia. See you soon!
Super stoked to find this page! We fish the creeks here in southern Indiana for smallies and the spillway for walleye and wipers. I have been wanting to find some info on centerpin floating for these spots. Thanks!
Danny, what is that Rod? I can see its an EDGE Rod, just wondering specs, like is it the "HALF GRIP," or "FULL GRIP," and wondering your preference between the 2. Im over here on the West Coast... Your content is some of the best by far... WISH YOU WOULD DO MORE TECH TALK STUFF... Some of us are very interested in your gear talk videos... NO DOUBT! Cheers man, Dan
I fish the lower Niagara a lot. On Canadian side either wirlpool or the butterfly conservatory by the devil's hole. Running a fifteen foot rod matched up with the 5" trichrome. Absolutely a beautiful piece. But I have been having an issue with the right main line to put on my reel. As I use this to fish everywhere I go. I love the power and control on the long drifts my rpx delivers. Currently I am running 12lb main.
You won't get hits if your bait is dragging behind your float. The bait is always best presented first, ahead of the split shot and the rest of your tackle.

If you are getting into centerpin, watch what Danny does and copy it exactly.

Hey Pat what issues are ya having?
What’s the rod you’re using with the carbon handle? Looks like an Edge Rod.
It's more so the casting distance with the heavier line and small floats
I use anywhere from a 7 gram float up to a 20gram float.
I find when I use a lighter main line to get better distance for casting I am breaking off too much
You are truly an artist with your pin reels both precision and beauty
Much love brother
Love Whirlpool
Love The Big N
Nightmare pattern has been really hot this year too
run your bait 10 to 13' below your float when fishing the whirlpool...
and watch that float drop!
What size float ?
I think he said 15 gram fixed
15 bro
Is that the Edge Centerpin rod?
Yeah Ryan a proto type
What Marley was that in the intro?
Not a marley, iya terra burn for you
@@joshyin2deep lol yeah I figured it out.. thanks
doesn’t even sound like marley
what is that, dangling on the butt end of your rod?
Rod Huggers, keep the rod together when traveling to and from the river
Очень интересная катушка, у нас в России такими не ловят
You will miss thousands of hits with the bait before the float.
The trout will just crush the juice from a spawn bag & spit the hook in a flash...

Never mind with the music.. Gotta go.
