I love the raw grittiness of her voice - with so many vocal gymnastics (although extremely good) demonstrated by other singers, this makes me think of music in the 60s and 70s where the music was authentic and could easily be duplicated live - I'd love to see the return of this genre in mainstream music, where the music is not so synthesized. I, a nobody, sang professionally for years in bar bands and then a wee bit of success in my local small city and then a bit on a national scale. I loved doing it, no autotune at that time (I'm old), but even then performing live original songs would prove a problem since I did all my own backup vocals on recordings, and could not possibly translate live in comparison to what was recorded. Too bad I didn't have money to pay back up singers to sing the layers of back up vocals LOL! I appreciate so many genres of music, but I think Lisa Marie has a very unique gutsy voice that doesn't need fluff and the live performances sound pretty similar to the recorded versions. I really like her material and I think she is a real original - she has a defined style - I really enjoy her music! :-)

Well... remember, Lisa saw a lot of behind the scenes with Michael that nobody got to see. She stated that both were very stubborn people. If you ever made Michael angry, even if it was out of care; Michael would push you away for days, weeks, months, and maybe even years. I do think Debbie was sort of in the wrong, because she told Michael that she would carry his babies knowing that he was married to Lisa Marie. She knew from already being a mom that they needed to set up a foundation and certain things for them to have kids. She wanted to make sure things were set before having kids with Michael.
