Armor/damage is calculated per piece, not cumulatively. That is, each piece has a separate rating, and it's random which piece gets hit and has its rating factored into damage calculations. So a +10 insignia turns a 60 armor piece into a 70 armor piece, but 5 of them don't turn all your 60 armor pieces into a 110 armor pieces.

Without spending any money on anything(other than what I spent for your 1st original 7 heroway build) and just using this build with the original weapons and armor and runes from the original 7 heroway builds and just modifying the atts a little bit to almost match your atts to this build... this build is strong for sure. Good job again! I'm not rdy to change my heros over to this one completely but it wouldnt cost me much. It's just that I have them all set up with weapons and armor and runes for all of your 3, 5, and 7 heroway builds from before... Otherwise I can still run this with a little tweaking. Nice!
Another comment already corrected them since damage rolls towards a specific piece of armor so its +15 to the armor piece that gets hit during calculation and not +75 for 5 Prodigys. However what you're thinking of is abilities. Things like "Stand your ground!" give +24 while standing still and that caps at 25 if more sources are added. HOWEVER there's still several sources where that cap is by passed. "Save yourselves!" being +100 armor for example and not affected by that cap. I think also "Shields up!" is 60 to projectiles that doesn't cap at 25. And also "I am unstoppable!" gives 24 armor that isn't factored into the 25 cap. Gotta love guild wars lol

Right ! They would be consider as physical attackers and not get backfired by mesmers. Didn’t know about that ai update (or can’t remember it xD) thx for letting me know

If you have a heavy caster group and have them all on attack and they are at now medium range using a spear, they will go into combat quicker. Basically it was to Spike the target fast, this was how it was explained to me , but hey that could have been misinformation.

I suggest starting with what you can on atleast getting all the skills unlocked and the cheap basic runes that are cheap and then alternate to your budget OR add as you go as it would work fine even without all the runes just not as optimal.

As mentioned most important thing are the builds so if you can't afford something it's fine. If you have the right builds I'd say you already have the 80% of total power. The left 20% is having optimal weapons and armors.

100%. FoW is easy and very doable with full hero team even in HM. You just have to pull properly, specially in the middle zone with the skeletons and don't over aggro.

I must be doing it wrong because my team looks a lot like this and I'm absolutely losing my mind vanquishing areas, I swear if I hear Olias's death scream one more time I'll use him to death level pets for every damn hero on my account....
Soul Twisting rit and Blood is Power nec are the main pillars of any meta team. If you are struggling in some areas or fights just precast rit spirits before fights. Also the paragon skill "Stay your Ground" helps a lot, is a must I'd say.
You only really need Panic in DoA, some Winds of Change missions and maybe some dungeons. Rest is perfectly doable without it. Of course you can do the previous things also without Panic but it will take longer and you will notice the lack of defense the skill provides.
Panic is only really needed/helpful for the hardest content, so some Winds Of Change missions and maybe Domain of Anguish. As Sadrien said, for the rest, it's probably unnecessary and the team will kill slower, even if it's residual. If Panic is not needed you just want more damage after all.
Kinda late reply but what do you want for an "all pve" build? I agree they're 'boring' but the domination mesmers do significantly more damage than anyone else and people want to get stuff done. Plus they have quick hex removal and enchantment strip. I run a HR build on my paragon with 3 esurgers using the same bar as in this video alongside 2 elementalists/rangers whatever I want and they consistently do less than half or a third of the mesmers damage using the damage meter with toolbox

If it were pvp exclussively I would expect people to try hard, but this game is about trying out new builds and experimenting. Like the builds are nigh limitless, this game has the most intricate skill and class combination system I have ever seen in any video game, period! But 1-2 monks and 6 player domination doomstacks are the bread and butter lol. I just play this game differently, for me it’s about fun and experimenting with new builds. It’s like the main appeal of the game, I’d literally rather play any other mmo at that point.
@@REALdavidmiscarriage I mean yeah you can play it how you want and I still agree with a lot of what you say. But at the end the day a lot of people want performance/results. When most people play solo and are doing things like grinding out GWAMM or doing things like DoA/UW they want quick and reliable results. Not "lets slap together a random assassin hero build and see how that goes" I also got bored of the mesmerway and ran a 4 elementalist team for a while. It was more fun sure but had more limitations, did less damage and my team was vulnerable due to less hex removal and enchantment strip and lower killing potential Winds of Change Hard Mode even gives my HR mesmer team a run for their money sometimes. No room for fun random builds doing stuff like that

Still my favorite era was 55hp/ss duo, before dhuum skeles, those are some of my fondest memories of that game. 55hp was such a quirky and badass build it just encapsulated everything I love about this game. Elementalist sounds like a lot more fun tbh, but I go for the full roleplayer experience lol. I always want an mm, prot, healer, eles and mesmers. I’ve never done woc hm though I would probably get curbstomped doing that there lol. How’s population right now btw? people still playing I might join again?

Embark Beach always has a few dozen people, kamadan still has multiple districts going, zaishen quests usually get outposts near to them to have a dozen people looking for groups The elementalist squad was fun, ran 1 from each element. I was playing rit and ran Earthbind which made knockdowns longer and you could knockdown things normally immune. Searing flames made everything light on fire, earth ele knocked people down constantly. Water was good cc, air good damage+cracked armor Was for sure a lot more fun than the mesmers as you could actually see things happening. But yeah it did not have the same firepower or utility sadly and fell off with harder content

what you mean when you say 40/40 dominitaion set or 40/40 restoration set?
It means a 20/20 wand and offhand set of that attribute. Halve casting 20%, skill recharge 20%, etc.

i had spears on mine to abuse the fuck out of splinter weapon. hero ai won't cast splinter weapon on people with a wand or staff

Deadly Arts dagger spammer on a sin is really good yes i agree with 16 deadly arts as assassin.

Yes it will work fine, just learn how to kill urgoz at the end as I even struggle there.

Can you run a hero team in FoW?
100%. FoW is easy and very doable with full hero team even in HM. You just have to pull properly, specially in the middle zone with the skeletons and don't over aggro.

Yes, but maybe need some minor adjustments and Consets.
How do you cope with 391-466 health on your heroes?
I always have an additional 100hp from Consets and never had any problems. An ST Rit actually helps alot with lower HP.

40/40 Restoration Set for my Necro/Rit I always made myself from restoration wand and offhand from the balthazar area. Bought the mods.
