At olden times temples were not just religious sites but they were also working as banks, that's why Mugals always targetted temples. Britishers were not intrested in keeping temples un touched hence we still have the olden treasures intact
Mughals were jealous of our rich culture.
British had some civilized nature they were after this wealth.
So the King surrendered everything to Lord Padmanabha.
