Using Packs From Sample Magic and Loopmasters

Well,... since you asked. a) DO NOT USE ROYALTY FREE sample packs if you plan on releasing any of your work to the World. You'll just get laughed at by actual producers. b) his example sounded really really REALLY bad, and another reason why not to use sample packs the way he is doing. You could maybe slide by with a drum hit sample pack for drums, but stay away from anything with pre-made drum loops in it. Just remember how many other producers will have downloaded the exact same pack. This is why you stay away from Loopmaster, Splice or Octopus for finished samples to use in your production. Use them to kinda sketch in your idea but definitely don't use them in a finished production.

I just use one shot drums from sample packs, and no synths. Using synth/bass loops, even drum loops just feels like cheating to me and doesn't progress your skills. At least with one shots you have to understand rhythm.

As long as they are ROYALTY-FREE, then yes. However double check with the pack author to see if they authorize their samples to be used in commercial releases. Some may not or require you to purchase a commercial license. But... I would NEVER do so. Quickest way to get laughed right out of existence. Just come up with your own material and leave sample packs to the non-serious producers.

Wanted to know the same as I was planing to buy the loopmaster subscription to use there samples,for my songs to play on UA-cam etc, and was worried if I will get strikes...for using the samples.?

All the samples we distribute are sold under the same agreement - that their use in your own music is royalty-free. Once you’ve paid for the sample collection itself, you can use it as part of a project in your DAW and as part of any commercial release with no conditions. The only limitation under the standard license is that you cannot re-sell those samples as samples, in the same way, that we do, or as part of an instrument that is also sold commercially

There is no wrong way to make a track. At the end of the day you are trying to make sick beats. Who gives a rats ass what you use. Do you think the average fan listens to a song and thinks, "hmmm, did they sample from vinyl or use loop libraries?"
