Grew up near Ed and have seen him a couple of times at Wembley now. I love that he's remained a pretty grounded, chill guy, still lives the area where he grew up, despite being a massive global superstar. He seems to take it all in his stride. You can tell he's in love with being a musician and performer, not a celebrity, if that makes sense.

it's crazy how he got rid of his phone for years and had his ipad mini only with him on his hiatus. and in the songwriter docu, he still had his flip phone. bruh imagine having millions of dollars and still appreciate small and simple things and not always about the flashy things and being too extravagant. that's how humble he is, love this guy.

Ed Sheeran is one of those people who makes me believe there really are good things in this world. Definitely an inspiring guy for other musicians, and I'm sure that numerous kids have picked up a guitar and studied music because of him already.

I think his parents work in the industry. So I’m guessing they have got the right people around him. He comes across like the majority of British people. Humble, polite or in shorthand a gentleman. How we are raised over here. Manners cost nothing and go a long way.

I was there last night! What an amazing experience to see Stephen Colbert being such a talented presenter and Ed Sheeran just making us laugh and his performance was fantastic! Fun fact: he played three songs for us not just one. Amazing talent

As a musician, I would have liked to see him acknowledge the band on his entrance.
You know he probably was a bit nervous. If you watch enough of his interviews… He is very down to earth. He is actually a very shy person but has to overcome that because he has to do interviews as part of his jobs.
Ed performed 3 songs, and after 'Celestial' he went around the stage and gave each band member a big hug to say thanks

@@veronicam2935 Even though your response is not actually related to what I said, it is all the more reason to acknowledge them. He had probably spent significant relearsal time with them prior to the show, and he knew he was going to perform three songs with them later.

But … He definitely had practiced with them and played with them, talked with them prior and would talk with them again after the show was recorded. It was not perfectly done. In these talk shows, schedule is tight, It’s a bit of rush too. I would give him a little bit of room though. He is genuine and kind in heart and a very talented artist.
You know no one is perfect and one can’t go back to time to fix it… (I wish we could so I can fixed many of my mistakes.)
