Have not heard this in 30 years. A buddy had the cassettes as kids, im 41 now and Gowan is still cool shit man :) nice
Next time you see Gowan spinning around with his keyboard, remember: he's just dancing on his own ground. The stage is his ground.
It's funny; I heard this song on the radio in Calgary the other day and thought that it sounded like it might have come from the early '90s. Now that I've listened to it more, it makes me feel nostalgic for those days from thirty years ago, even though I never heard it before 2022.
Canada has put out some awesome musicians.
I listen to this song at least 5 times a week. Totally a feel good song and i am envious of the band mates having so much fun and are so talented.
Thanks Larry for this song. So applicable to today's world. Many blessings to you! To all watching this video/song, may mother/father God's light shine brightly in your life.
One of my favourite Gowan songs!
Such a GIFTED Songwriter and Performer and it's GREAT that he's touring his Solo Show again!
Although he's SPECTACULAR with STYX!!!
This song is a total banger. 🔥 good vibes all da time ma boi
Yes sir! Lawrence is a music God, if you ask me!
Heard this for the first-time in Chatham ont live show 11/25!! Amazing! Was dancing on my broken foot for the whole song and most of the show!!!🥰
Oh man! They did Strange Animal too. These guys were so underrated!
Lawrence gowan was also a big piece of the Styx! Hell of a musician
@@joejohnson5696massive talent. Saw him do a one man show. Incredible! Piano, drums, singing, guitar ( of course all done singly in songs). What a show! Just him and a stage. Multitalented
Awesome . Lawrence Gowan’s songs are great soundtracks for life. Phenomenal talent.
I remember in the mid 90's when this song was on the radio. RIP CKKL Cool FM 93.9. Radio in the 90's was way better than now. Sandy and the Shark. 😁
Another vid I never knew about! This song has been one of my go-tos whenever I need to kick ass.
Such an Energizing Feel Good Song.
As always Lawrence, knocking it out of the Park.👏👏♥️
Longue vie à l'oeuvre de Larry...

Salut Larry! J'espère que tu vas bien! Je vais venir te voir en concert à Saint Hyacinthe pour la première fois cette année et j'ai très hâte! J'aimerais vraiment entendre Jet White et Dedication 😁 Merci Larry!

One thee coolest musicians ever. Classy AND talented guy.
Hi i'm looking for a song from the 80's that has this similar beat but I can't seem to find it. Does it ring a bell to anybody ? Thankx !
Gowan - keep up the fight
When I was a kid . I thought it was Rock & Hyde aka Payolas
at 1:45 that is an inhalation hazard. Please be careful, people. This entire video is a cautionary tale of fine particulate inhalation hazards; changing bedding, and so-forth. Dust mites show no mercy.
Something bout a good looking woman playing a fiddle. Just saying.
I'm almost certain that's Melanie Doane from the Halifax area. A fantastic singer songwriter as well.
I've never heard of this guy...
Well time you did @ Ralph. Start with Criminal Minds (no not the tv show), then some "You're a Strange Animal" etc. Then find out why he has been with Styx since 1999. When Styx played Montreal in 1997 Gowan blew the FORUM away standing O after standing O and they remembered, and when they needed a keyboard/vocalist made the call. 12 Top 25 Hits here in Canada. ENJOY.
Did you have YTV as a kid? He never blew up big. Had a career mostly in Canada
Waaaaa?
one too many pieces missing, had to learn how not to listen.......
