I think many would be able to identify with sermons that could be over in 5 minutes but instead seems to go into an "infinite loop" of redundant materials that add no additional insight into the exposition except making the sermons longer. John Stott correctly identified the reason for poor preaching is the lack of adequate preparation because of the tendency to be lazy and some might have lost sight of the fact that "a preacher is to be God’s steward, dispensing faithfully to God’s household the truths committed to him in the Scriptures, nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else." Martyn Lloyd Jones also described preaching is logic on fire. And Richard Baxter said “I preached as never sure to preach again, and as a dying man to dying men.” How different the sermons would be if preachers of today would have all these in mind!

算啦！
我都對教會制度失望，曾經比一間尖沙咀浸字派教會 愚弄了上一年慕道班，最終入唔到佢地小組，即系你唔會有受浸機會，但牧者話可以逄星期日返來聽到，我覺得系因為我私人姻緣問題未處理得好，間接會影響佢哋其他會友。如只可以星期日返來聽道，使咩要返你這間教會聽，那時候一個字，就系心死，這間教會好冰冷，沒有愛。。傷感離開。。慢慢沒有再返教會了！離開信仰二十幾年
