I despise AI narrations that bungles the grammar and pronunciation of known words. It’s like listening to a child and does not belong in Historical accounting.

I agree. I really wish I could filter out these channels entirely.

I HATE the proliferation of AI channels. The audio stuttering is almost painful to listen to. Are you so lazy that you can't even bother to read a scritp?

The US didn't actually loose. the whole reason why the war of 1812 started was because the British Empire was pressing US sailors and ships into the Royal Navy. After the war that ended and the Empire admitted, finally, that we weren't members of the Empire anymore. Was that the only goal of the war? No, but it was what ultimately started it and that issue was resolved as a result. Everything else like the invasion of Canada was a failure, but in the end so was the burning of the White House since that didn't end the war.
Other than the ending of pressing US citizens into the Royal Navy the war was a draw. Neither side won since the US was recognized, finally, as independent from the Empire by the Empire.

The poor AI narrator is so short of breathe that she must deliver in staccato, missed beat form, leaving us for some seconds in doubt as to whether she shall continue.

The AI nature of this is distracting; crude and irrelevant illustrations and AI narration are not welcome. The use of AI to narrate is denying someone a pay check and is lazy and of poor quality.

In truth it was an American land grab aimed at Canada, while the British were fully engaged fighting Napoleon. It was a disaster, the attacks on Canada failed with humiliating regularity. The Americans really won nothing the whole time they were at war. Luckily the British were happy with a secured border with Canada and business as usual. No major issues since, though to be strictly accurate the British had stopped the offending naval practices just before the war started!
