HELLO!! That 'beat' is sampled from The Godfather of Soul James Brown 'The Payback' from the 70s. Yes, most if not all songs were sampled from the 70s. The BEST decade of R&B and funk!! I know because I lived it and loved it🤗🤗💃💃
This was my era and yes it is a hit. I'm glad you apologized to your dad, because our beats were everything. I will admit my teens have me bopping to recent music but it doesn't compare
Total was or still is a 3 girl group. Keisha has been married to Omar Epps for like 20 years. They was bumping at all our get togethers in the 90’s. Speakers use to rattle 😂 Check or Kissing you, Trippin , what about us and No one Else
its ironic he likes the dancing in the music video, and back in the day that was among one of the biggest criticisms of puff, that he would be all on his artists' records, all in their videos, dancing n shit
That was Suge Knight only because he was throwing diggs at Diddy well Puffy at the time...but it was standard to dance in videos back then..that was a given
Diddy was the sample King, so the beat is a sample of a James Brown song called “The Payback”. The beat is actually sampled a lot. Also, the beats in the 90’a were 🔥, but the beats were very simple that is why your generation calls it the “boom bap” era which is hilarious😂. Please do a reaction to Mobb Deep video featuring Lil Kim called “The Quiet Storm Remix”. Another fire beat to prove 90’s had fire beats that could go toe to toe with this eras beats frfr. Also, I bet you don’t know Queen Latifah was a hard @ss rapper in the 80’s, you should do a reaction to her song “UNITY” I am pretty sure you will enjoy it……..nice reaction 🙌🏾
Can't You See is one of my favorite songs of all time. I'd recommend No One Else by Total. Also, check out Hey Mr. DJ and Sending My Love by another girl group called Zhané. Great songs.
i'll give the new era this much, when they sample something right, the beats sonically sound so much better. Take for example Fat Joe "So excited" or Drake "TSU". So yeah, if we go back to soul sampling with the technology we got now, the beats will get that extra UMPH that's been missing in its consistency.
Suggestions of videos to react to: --Flava In Your Ear Remix by Craig Mack feat. Biggie --4,3,2,1 by LL Cool J feat. Method Man, Red Man, Cannibus, DMX (the Remix has Master P on it) --Quiet Storm Remix by Mobb Deep feat. Lil Kim --Whoa by Black Rob --Lost Ones by Lauryn Hill --Ready Or Not by The Fugees --Oh La La Lah by The Fugees All the beats are knockin!
If you want to jam some more listen to these songs from the mid 90s: 1. You Should Be Mine by Brian McKnight and Mase 2. Steelo by 702 3. Touch Me Tease Me by Case, Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown A 90s party don't stop🤗🤗💃💃

@@MAJreactionsthose were recycled beats. I mean, I was in 79. I thought those were the original tracks, but in time I was wrong.
