      Yes of coursee
      Im from Kediri and when I go to Surabaya or other city the Nasi Goreng is kinda more bland or lack of flavor.
      Because in Kediri the Nasi Goreng seller usually use Rajarasa Oil, Fish Oil, and Fish Kecap.

    It's Nasi Goreng Kebuli, so that's why you tasted such a briyani flavour within it. It's different with common traditional "Nasi Goreng Kampung." Thank you for your video, it's always enjoyable to see. You have adorable kids. Have a nice and safe trip everywhere.

    Did you know that Nasi Goreng was traditionally a breakfast food so I was told in Indonesia. People would make boiled white rice for the dinner meal and what was left would be fried the next morning with an egg for breakfast.

    • @withyou5961
      @withyou5961 2 роки тому +8

      Yes, usually we use left over rice in the morning, and it’s more delicious coz the rice texture bit dry and it’s perfect for nasi goreng

      Not all the time. Food stall do use fresh cook rice for nasi goreng since nasi goreng is in their menu. Nasi campur stalls, (stall with a lot of dishes to eat with rice), may use left over rice.

    You will find another kind of nasi goreng at Sabang Street or Lombok Street. They're called Nasi Goreng Gila (Crazy Fried Rice), it's typically the same fried rice with different spices, kind of similar with Chinese taste. It's not far from there, try typing Nasi Goreng Gila Lombok or Nasi Goreng Gila Sabang. Happy hunting and have a nice one.
