1) Last time ARMY always buy them an expensive gift for their birthday so BTS & their company decided not to receive gifts anymore. 2) The old version of ARMY Bomb is only white colour, the "purple project" ARMY used purple plastics to covered up the ARMY Bomb so it looks purple.
Those were only a tiny peak at ARMY charity projects : The fans from all countries, have done hundreds of those projects.... Last year BTS raised 2M$ for UNICEF, but I believe ARMYs themselves raised more than 1M$. For every BTS' member birthday, countless donations are organized, it's really crazy
Just letting you know, in Korea there is a law that every man has to serve 2 years in the actual army because the war between north and South Korea is technically still going on. So our boys have decided to respect and honor their country and said they will be serving and not trying to be excused. Jin is the oldest therefore he will be going first because they’re probably not going to go all at the same time and so there will be quite a time where all 7 won’t be together. But as army it’s our job to support them and make sure not to let them down and be ready for them when they’re all together and even when some of the members are missing.💜💜
Halsey also mentioned in an interview that ARMYs were trying to thank her for being so nice to the boys. They figured that streaming Halsey’s videos for more views is not enoughy so they instead donated to charity in her name. She was so happy and even said “imagine if everyone’s fans were like ARMY, donating to charity in order to thank their artists” and it just made me feel so much pride in the fandom. yup. eps when the fandom is bigger. i've been into some fandom and there are always some toxic fans. But that's just how it is. and i'm kinda annoying when some people saying like 'i'm fan of bts and i love them but i'm not an army because they are toxic' i mean army is not toxic. the person is. But of course not all of them. You can't always expect people in this world being all nice. Bts called their fans Army and it has a beautiful meaning behind it. if you are fan of bts you have to admit that you are Army. just like Bts called themselves bts. i'm multifandom. and the other artist i stan i think is pretty big too. and have Many toxic fans too. a name of a fandom is always beautiful, it's all up to you to make it nice or not. Whats actually really cool is the guys themselves do alot of donations but they did it secretly at first now they are more open about it on Sugas birthday he donated a couple thousand dolloars worth of food to a child agency center and theyve donated thousands of pounds of rice i believe it was like 10,000 pounds to the needy at one time thats why we do what we do cuz they do it without blinking an eye even when they barely had money themselves
BTS used to accept gifts from Armys but when they start making enough money, they chose to accept letters & not material gifts anymore & ask armys to use their money in more important things w/c results to even more charity works from armys.

For this year's Namjoon's Bday, A fanbase here in the PH will do a plant a tree project. And if I'm not mistaken, ARMY fan bases here in PH did a school supplies donation for the less fortunate kids and even gave a donation for UNICEF PH under the boys' name.
