Best TS release from DTG in quite a while the updated base routes for TS2021 that they did improved those immensely. Danny and the crew need a big shout out for this - Well done everyone involved with this.
Not an area I'm familiar with, however it looks lovely. Nice to see all those custom assets and those stop car markers are also a great addition. Perfect for the AP 411/412.
i bought this upon release, already working on a little scenario pack for it which will be released on my own site, back on topic I've loved the Faversham - Ramsgate now I may be a bit bias but I think it's Fantastic, and the recreation of Canterbury East signal box is amazing.
Cracking route did it for the first time on Stream tonight and I was surprised! Even better than my local Cross City! Very impressed! Only gripe is the level crossings/crossings aren't as detailed as say some of the newer JT routes and Dover Castle (The most important landmark on the route) doesnt show from the line until you zoom into it. Apart from that they've nailed it and its amazing what a retexturing of the platforms can do!
Love the way the game looks and runs on your new PC! One small observation: The 'new' sticker and the Train Sim TV logo are slightly distracting, I wish they were smaller or would go away after a couple of minutes.
Yeh Canterbury West is a nice looking station, like you said, perhaps its there just incase they do something with it or something like that, its very detailed which then can make you scratch your head abit when you go to the part with the East Kent Railway and theres no track and very limited in detail but its something you can see from the train where as Canterbury West is not so must be a reason why so much effort was made with Canterbury West area. so yeh ..Interesting to see what comes in the future.
Great first part video Tom, it does seem that DTG have upped their game which is great news. Looking forward to part 2 and 3 and I will definitely will be buying this route.
Great video am going to get this route I think. Looks like dovetail have really put much better effort into the last couple of British routes they look good. Shows there is life in the old dog yet
I'm surprised DTG put some efffort into the route; maybe suggests that they don't really care for TSW2. I think they made a good descision by upgrading the existing Chatham Mainline. The sounds on the default stock are a letdown though. They had AP sounds on the 465 for TSW2, so why weren't they ported over?
Both are good, depends what you prefer. Welsh Marches is a very quiet long scenic drive, can be boring if you don't like that sort of thing. Chatham is intense at the London end and full of station stops, then gets more rural as you head eastwards.
This route looks amazing, the attention to detail and the PIBs are superb. However the East Kent Railway at Shepherdswell Station, it is a shame they haven’t added more detail, the station looks deserted and there is no track laid down. They would have been better to have ignored it. I have the original version plus the Sheerness extension, but so impressed with the video and Tom’s views that I will be purchasing this now. I presume that I can uninstall the original and Sheerness branch line after installing to save disk space? Can someone please confirm?

Its literally all old assets being reused and a 465 ported from TSW isnt it

hello
Sounds good we need more scenarios!

Wish this was on Train Sim World 2. Thanks for the video.
That would be cool!
Thanks for doing my scenario as part of showcasing the route :) - CB
Thank you for providing a lovely morning scenario! Just need some more now. They are rather thin at the moment to find new ones atm 🤣
@@TrainSim_TV All in the plans for me :P
I'm a train and I approve this video! !! Holy Moly!!!!
Love the way the game looks and runs on your new PC!
One small observation: The 'new' sticker and the Train Sim TV logo are slightly distracting, I wish they were smaller or would go away after a couple of minutes.
Thank you for the feedback. Will see what can be done!

probably THE best DTG release of 2021. well done hats off to em.... more of the same.
Agreed
I wish that they add this whole route on the Northeastern Highspeed on TSW2.
What’s interesting is that the buildings at the East Kent Railway are customs, yet the signal box by the mainline at the station there isn’t.
Great first part video Tom, it does seem that DTG have upped their game which is great news. Looking forward to part 2 and 3 and I will definitely will be buying this route.
Glad you enjoyed! You wont be disapointed. The next sections which will follow are just as great
Kinda decided I was gonna buy this route when it was first announced

I think the sounds on TSW2 for the class 465 are under a license from AP which may only state they can use then for that title.
16:01 that is Canterbury Castle
Any weather enhancer used here?? I like the sun and little mist effect u got.
Armstrong Powerhouse Sky and Weathef enhancement pack. From looking at their recent FB posts there may be a replacement product in the works.
Hey what do you use for graphics and shaders?
never ant other traffic on lines in these scenarios
There was correct traffic for the time of day
Are you using RW Enhancer 2 in this video?
Just core ts settings no rwe used.
@@TrainSim_TV Please can you tell me what settings you're using because it looks lovely
How many stations are in this dlc
Either buying Welsh Marches or this, which one would you suggest?
