Here are some ways you can keep your fitness resolutions! Things sometimes get harder 1-2 weeks in after the motivation dies down. Making things simple, convenient, and understandable can help you maintain motivation. Keep in mind, some of this may not be *optimal*. That's part of the aversion some people have to "simple and convenient." I think this depends on one's goals, but I agree that your optimal training may not be simple or convenient. However, it's probably better to have a simple workout plan you can do (that makes you fitter and stronger) rather than an ideal workout plan you're too busy to do. Either way, hope this can help! Have a wonderful day.
As someone with chronic pain I recommend having a backup plan for flare up/ attack days! Something like a couple stretches keeps your body moving consistently while not hurting yourself more! Good luck, you’ve got this
you might never read this but would just like to say how grateful I am to come across you sometime last year I've been struggling with my weight since the pandemic and have been very inconsistent (and brutally harsh to myself) in exercising. you made exercising kinder (in some way) and made me realize that doing and starting with less can yield more results than doing aggressive ones immediately from 82kg now down to 74kg (still far but a lot better progress than whatever I had before) cheers 🎉
I love you, sir. I mean that in the most platonic way, but I'm just feeling so grateful right now for such a genuinely wholesome person. Okay I'm done, carry on.
Another great post! I love your kindness and generosity. I love going to the gym but I moved to an area where it is not easy to make the time to drive 45 minutes just to get there so now I am concentrating on creating a better at home workout. Sending love xo
Keeping your goals realistic is the most important part. You need to realize that like 99% of fitness influencers are like full time bodybuilders so their definition of “progress” in the gym shouldn’t mean anything to you as a normal person with normal responsibilities like a job or school. Yes progress can be visible but please dont listen to someone on instagram who’s on gear telling you youre not making progress based in their standards. I really want people to exercise to be fit, not to look fit
It's the same with everything in life Unless you have a healthy, realistic understanding of how it will actually be, you will burn out and give up, because there is no accomplishment along the way to push you
@@Schrodingers_kid I was there too. It’s a lot simpler than people think it is. Eat nutrient dense food, anti inflammatory food (which most people don’t know what that means and have it wrong) and then a few simple body weight strength training sessions 3-4 times a week. Add a few walks when you can. It’s magic.
@@derekhines1078 It sure helps, but my issues can only be slightly improved by all that and most are chronic I'm feeling better and doing things that would send my doctors into shock, but...Eh, got to live someday
That last tip to invest some time before or after a workout learning how to do a better specific workout (like pushups) is gold. Such common sense but you’d be surprised how useful it is to be reminded to research & learn
Also, don’t give up! Even if you have to take time out! I was too sick to work out for months last year. But I’m still significantly stronger than I was at the start of the year. Even once a week when you can is enough to make a difference. Don’t give up because you missed a session or two.
As someone who takes the bus on a route that has frequent stops, I often find myself walking further down the bus route, checking the schedule every stop. If I can make the next stop, I do it.
I started last year doing a short yoga routine, a hand weight shoulder workout, and an on the ground lower body routine. All short, able to do one each morning to get started, with rest days. Realistically keeps me on track but not getting super demotivated when I can't for a few days
With love: Get off the scale! Work out to feel good, not lose weight. As you move your body in ways that make you feel comfortable and functional, your body will settle into a weight that feels comfortable and functional, and the number really does not matter ❤
@@Lari-lc3zq i like looking at the scale, its interesting and also a good reminder to work out. (Also a good reminder that that half gallon of icecream wasn't a good idea😂) ive explained in much more detail to everyone why I want to look at the scale or be a certain weight and every single person says the same thing. I swear I don't have a toxic relationship with the scale. Especially not for now. If I gained like 30 lb and broke into 200 without notable muscle gain I would be a little upset but that would also be a kick in the ass to start working harder
@@rileyninja9733 Ok fair 😊 I just worry when I see comments focusing on weight because there is so much importance placed on weight in popular media and it’s really not as important as just feeling good and following your body ❤️
Body weight exercises. Things not reliant on physical equipment. If you have a yard, a combination of movement exercises amd exercises confined to a small space can work.
A lot of push ups, bench dips on a chair or couch, maybe get a pull up bar too, so you can do pull ups/chin ups, do squats/calf raises, sit ups, knee raises, leg raises on the floor, and planks. There you go bro I did all that at 13 calendar years as well.
@@dream4more work up to push ups. Knee push ups or wall push ups. If you have any weight and you just want bigger arms for aesthetics then do curls and stuff. It won’t do much for actual sports performance though.

I agree! Thank you❤
I use the 3 Ps. Purpose, Process and Payout.
Maybe you can make a video of nutrition?
What are the 5-6 compound exercises? I very much need to focus on those in my day-to-day life

Consider following the suggestions by LowerBackAbility.
That's really helpful, thank you!!!
Yes! Also, use whatever props or modifications you need to do the exercise if you are unable to perform the full movement due to pain or stiffness ❤
Love listening to your realistic ideas

These videos get me excited for when I can start working out again in a few weeks because I had to pause to recover from surgery
Nice one mate, appreciate it. I started rucking on my walk to work, I get like 120 mins a day of rucking in now.

Your awesome.
I've been working out at home for 5 years now
Hope you also have a wonderful day.
Thanks!
We were supposed to make fitness resolutions? 👀
1. Keep God first in everything u do
Verse:
Acts 15:35 says,
Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord.
"as you get stronger"
You see, that's where we have a problem.
What’s the problem?
i agree with all of them
What are the compound exercises
The ring 👁
I've already gained like 4 lb 💀. I didn't originally have a conscious Fitness related New Year's resolution but now I think I do
It's probably water weight but that doesn't change the fact that I'm 20 lb more than I would like to be

How do i get rid of hard skin under your fingers (i got them from pull ups)

How could I work at home as a 13 year old?
