The Timemore, it's great for methods using coarse grounds for pourovers or the Aeropress and it just feels well made. The R11 is just badly made overall, did not enjoy it at all, feels like a huge hunk of metal but the tolerances and the feeling of it just isn't great. Stick to Timemore or Kingrinder as well. I believe Kingrinder is on Amazon now and their prices are very very good for what they offer. I got the K6 myself and being able to adjust your grind settings on the outside rather than counting clicks at the bottom is great. It's crazy to me that the K6 is at 80 euros for example on Amazon Germany cause I had to buy mine on Aliexpress for 100$ + customs and taxes.
Hello! Nice video! btw, is your c3 a bit loose after srewing? I mean, the bottom part where you adjust clicks. the "clicker" itself tends to rotate a bit (left and right) (without clicking ofc)
Hello ! I haven't noticed it, it still clicks fine for me :o Not sure where you got it from but maybe they can do something about it like send you new parts / another one if it's under warranty.
Yes, thanks! But I mean, this big "screw" where you place two "wheels" has a small loose , about 0,5mm or less, and it allows to spin the "wheels" about few milemeters left or right (because of the loose on the screw), i bet its normal, and it clicks and grinds normaly of course, its a small loose allowing it to spin the wheels slightly (Sry for bad english hah)
Hi ! If you have the C3 ESP I don't think there's any reason to buy the C3 because if I recall it's the same burr but the plate to adjust grind size is different so the ESP has more clicks to adjust with and makes it capable for espresso. It's plenty enough for pour overs and tbe picopresso I'd think 👌
@@KrazyShark omg. You really did reply! Besides good videos you reply. Thank you. So i have a C2. Igot a new picopresso but i love pour overs. So, C3 has s2c burrs and C3 ESP has E&B burrs on my research but has more dial in. Concern is. Even with ESP having more old burr system. Can it still grind for pour over? Or just espresso?
@@Benson.BereTV I've been very happy with the C3 regarding slow methods like the Aeropress and the V60, especially with coarser grounds so I don't think it's an issue. + Extra grind setting sizes for espresso is nice 👌
@@Benson.BereTV Hi again ! So sorry I got confused I thought you were talking about the C3 ESP. I wasn't aware of the ESP. In that case yes I prefer the C3 (S2C) burrs rather than the ESP (E&B) burrs. If you go with the C3 it will make good slow method coffees :) I am however not sure how it will do for espresso so maybe with the Picopresso it will be enough but not the best.
Thanks for the vid. I have an additional washer on my C3Pro that I'm not sure where it goes.
Nice video! Which grinder do you prefer out of the 2 and why?

None of these videos seem to unscrew the ring. I did mine and it had a bunch on gunk under it. I recommend unscrewing it.

Do you think c3 is better than c3 ESP?
Im gonna use it for picopresso and pour over as well. What do you think?

@@KrazyShark so to be clear, you prefer C3 rather than ESP. Right?

Could I theoretically use compressed air or would that damage the grinder? C3
Compressed air should be fine, as long as it's not one of those heavy duty industrial blowing machines that could shred a tree I don't see why not x)
How often do you clean your grinders? New to pour over for about 2 weeks now and haven’t cleaned my C3 yet.
It really depends on how often you swap coffee beans in my opinion to avoid cross contamination but generally every 2 to 3 weeks is fine :)
I enjoyed my stay XD
hope you had a good night's sleep x)
Please tell me which one has the best grinding?
Best budget grinders you can find right now are the Timemore C3 and Kingrinder K1 or K2
@@KrazyShark Did you not like R11?
@@Dozent-75 No i would avoid it. Terrible quality from a generic / no name product.
@@KrazyShark спасибо
@@KrazyShark Can you elaborate? Whats terrible about it?
The burr is a Comandante clone so in theory it should perform similarly
can you share name of camera and micro?
Of course ! I am using the Sony ZV-1 and i don't have an extra microphone, i just use the one on the camera since it's already so good :)
