@@johncunningham4820soooo.... just show a totally different plane because that's err....a plane so we can see what a different plane looks like but we don't get told what it is, or which photo is the plane that's we're talking about.... and also let's not tell anyone? Great creative choices there 🙌
Ikarus 451 is several different experimental planes using the same tail and wings but with different cockpit and engines, the planes shown are indeed Ikarus 451 but different versions
So many of these videos are someone swiping footage from somewhere on some subject they know nothing about, then narrating in a mindless way on a subject they're utterly ignorant of. I've taken to just turning the sound off on videos where the footage is interesting and the voice is AI generated or worse.
3:42 Decades ago I saw a man die in one of these at an airshow. I think what happened is he went to go for a loop before he landed and it ran out of fuel mid loop.
And I heard “twin tails”, and neither of them had that. I think OP is trolling us. First clue was in the description, “…even as small as a bee”. Haha. Though I did enjoy seeing the pics and vid. A lot if them were unfamiliar. Have long been fascinated by the Cri-Cri, and kind of in love with the BD-5 (the prop one too, and I recall a longer-winged variant with much greater L/D. Haven’t watched to the end (yet?), because it’s getting ridiculous, but I’m missing Ken Rand’s single seat KR-1 and side-by-side KR-2. Had the plans for the -1, and was receiving his newsletter when the last one told the story of his demise. Engine in his turbocharged -2 failed over a big thunderstorm, returning to California from Sun ‘n Fun ‘79.
Some of your descriptions of the Ikarus 451M are just plane wrong. And your switching pictures is extremely messed up since you are describing a jet aircraft but keep switching to pictures of a propeller aircraft. The propeller aircraft is the Ikarus S-451. Nowhere did I find an aircraft of the Ikarus 451 family with engines stacked vertically. You botched this one, big time.
Actually is Y-tail, not V-tail, because there is a vertically oriented movable control surface on aft end of fuselage which is readily visible on a PC monitor which is around 22 inches, 56cm, wide. Pause the video around the 2 different views at 1:31, 1:32 points to get a good view of it.
Y-tail? REALLY??? I'm adfition the insert on the Ikarus is chaotic - which aircraft is being referred to?? The twin & pod, the twin jet, the twin propeller driven variant?? Whoever edited this content certainly didn't look at the end result for clarity.
As someone just said on another comment, there is a vertical rudder attached to very end of fuselage under what would otherwise be a classic v-tail. I searched up the company's website and photos there confirm that vertical rudder exists; so, a V-tail + a vertical rudder below it = Y-tail.
jest because you cannot believe something means that the numbers must be off? An airplane HAS to be aerodynamic, they are way lighter than cars and they become more efficient if the speed increases, how are you even surprised
Tout ce qui monte doit redescendre. Pour montée, pas besoin de permis. Par contre, pour redescendre dans le même état qu à la monter, une formation peu s avérer utile 😂

The description of the Ikarus does note even remotely resemble the pictures in the video.
Pathetic. Probably a bot.😅
@@jdjeep98Must be a bot and it accidentally described another plane instead. 😅
Too Many Discrepancies To Mention! TBH, I Am Not A Videographer, So I Can't Understand How So Many Mistakes Were Missed During Editing. Thank You.
I am confused! The video does not coincide with the audio description in the case of the yugoslav plane!
Possibly there IS no Footage of the Actual Plane .

say whatever you want, but the creator of this device has a good sense of humor
Turn the sound off - and lookit the pictures ...... less confusing !!
Still confusing as the twin boom plane alternates with images of a totally different plane 😂
Video doesn't match the commentary. A flickering montage of unrelated planes.
😂
Bro wants to look at still images of the planes being talked about. If any imagine exist as public domain anyway.

What about the tiny proptwin where the pilot is laying in the cabin ? This would have been much more interesting

When does the airplane in the thumbnail appear? Is this about fishing?
very cool. this small plane might be suitable for high altitude vehicles
6:32 Totally different aircraft to the one described.
Why do he talks about a jet aircraft and keep on showing a prop job?
Because this is just AI generated garbage
Do you know that A PT -6 engine is A jet engine, the prop.on Air plane has nothing to do with compering the 2

many wrong pictures shown during descriptions
IA generated video and text. Its not JSX-2T shown and its not fixed main landing gear. “Author” had no idea.
What an interesting movie. I remember how 007 was entering to gas station and told: ”Filler up, please”. 🤣

Pretty sure this video is partially AI generated. It's becoming increasingly common on UA-cam.
For those small planes -- will they run out of fuel after a few minutes?
So many beautiful death machines, not sure which one id pick
Those are so tiny you can take a stone and hit it out the sky or even lift them up 😂😂😂😂

I have seen rc planes that big. Omg.
I wonder if there is an airplane that can be folded up so that it fits in a backpack?
Yep. Came out in 47 a.d. and was immediately banned
"Y" tail? Most aviation-minded people would call it a "V" tail. The Beech Bonanza comes to mind.
Sonex calls it a Y-tail due to a small vertical rudder below the V-tail in there designs🙂

What is the use of making these small planes
I used to have no interest in them. But now I think they are so cool. It’s somehow closer to my dreams of flying.
Fun. Plus they are easy to transport and store.

I use to dream about a Cessna 172 being this size and taking off from our little paved driveway. Why? Who knows.
I was wondering for how many hours can it stay in the air after full refuiling 🥹
I knew it wasn't an rc plane, rc planes are larger 😂
480 miles on 40gals of fuel is very effecient for a jet..

The SubSonix JSX-2T will not make it, even as "the only Fer powered plane under $140k". Let's see it at under 139,999 k and then we will see.
