key is confidence and basic knowledge, have details of local SP, DM, know the basic laws related to age, hotel, marriage, sx and all. Be calm and ask the cop with respect, dont let him take things to ego, recording audio or video is preferred, get more ppl into the convo, send a text to someone close right after u get into a situation dont wait for police to snatch ur phone.
knocking court doors for a petty matter is not beneficial, because remember it's the police only who shall do the investigation, court isn't appointing any special body for a small matter. And cops dont get kicked so easily, they get suspended at max, and that too is mostly like a short vacation for them.
